How did you hear about the Power Rangers role?
I auditioned in the normal way. After many weeks with no response the casting director told my agent that I hadn't got the part. A few days later my agent contacted me again to say it was a mistake and I had got it.
What was the first thing you did when you found out that you got the part?
It first I did't believe it. It was a fairly slack time in my career - I was 'resting' and it was a real life-saver.
You mentioned earlier that you had watched Power Rangers with your kids. Which season(s) did you watch? Which season(s) did you enjoy watching? Were they excited when they heard you got a part on the show?
Too long ago I'm afraid - can't remember.
How does it feel to be on the show?
It's great - hard work, but very rewarding financially as well as artistcally.
How do you relate to your character "Spencer"?
He's great fun to play. Love his wry, dry humour.
What was your favorite moment on the show?
I really enjoyed the small amounts of location stuff I did with the Rangers.
What was your least favorite moment on the show?
Too many...I had great fun.
What did you think of your fellow cast members?
I have to admit I can get a bit cranky at times - but not on this series. I got on well with every member of the cast and crew. I'm sorry it's finished.
Are you close to any of the cast members?
Not really - it's the usual way in this business. We work together and at the end of the season part on good terms but little possibility of meeting again. Sad, but quite normal.
Do you still keep in touch with any of the cast members?
No.
What is a normal day like on the Power Rangers set?
Every day starts with coffee - costume - make-up - on set.
Between your role of Spencer and a Fear Cat, which role do you enjoy most?
Spencer - Duh!!!
How did you get the role as a Fear Cat?
At 'Block' readthroughs I filled in as Benglo - Bruce liked what I did and asked me to play him.

Don't really have one - just try to get through as best I can.

What do you like to do for fun?
Collect militaria and toy soldiers - active Freemason.
Are you currently working on any projects?
Nothing specific. Since PR - short movie - bit part in a 2 hr docu-drama for TV. - auditioned and got 2 voice roles in projected animation series: narrator + 80 yo Samurai Master
Do you have any tips on becoming a successful actor or actress?
A very wise actor once said: "If you want to call yourself a professional actor you have to act!". In other words: you accept and do anything that's offered. (within normal limits of course).
