Dude, you can't just skip a series mainly because you don't like the suits....watching a new sentai series is not just about the suits (we all have different opinions of what suits we like and don't like), its about watching what the storyline is, the characters, and so on

Essentially it is confirming these rangers use cards, known as the Gosei Cards. When inserting them into their personal "GoseiHeader" (modeled after their mechs)

Their Henshin Item is the Tensouder?

Edit, the mechs are called GoseiMachines, and the robo is indeed GoseiGreat.

Not bad, not too shabby. The Boukenger resemblance is there, indeed but for the most part it doesn't bother me. Especially since i always loved the Bouken suits so the Goseiger unit definitely "borrowed" elements from one of the right seasons, for sure.

The only times having the tops above the belt area occurred in both Bioman and Changeman. Otherwise, they look okay.

But Samurai are amazing! I'm judging it on the plot too, very retro and un-Japanese focused. The cast looks good though, and nothing will be better than Shinkenger for me.

it might be because the colored parts look like an additional layer instead of sewn together with the white/ silver. im getting a bolero jacket vibe but thats just me i guess... its not a bad thing but it doesn't seem balanced aesthetically or something to my eyes... at least they arent the ohranger styled spoiler suits

I just really disliked Umeko (dekapink) and Houka (magipink) and she looks like a combo of the two as well as sounding kind of like both of them plus a little bit of Mako... I almost wish Pink was the plain jane for once

Japan is a different culture entirely. There is an adult audience (hence the female eye candy most likely), but the hair gel is more of the fashion/ culture. A lot of people in the US use hair product, but they really take it to another level with the amount of hair AND hair gel involved.

DX Tensou Gattai GoseiGreat:

GoseiDragon, GoseiSnake, GoseiShark, GoseiPhoenix and GoseiTiger unite! Each animal's GoseiHeader can be seperated from its body, and along with being attached to other toys in the set, 3 power up headers for each tribe (Skykku, Landic and Seakku) are being released with the first wave that can be swapped to change the GoseiMachines' heads. These will act like the gattai series for Goseiger. The heads are swapped out for the mecha that belongs to that tribe.

The composition of GoseiGreat is thus (the animals really are machine-types ala Liveman, Hurricanger etc.)

GoseiDragon- A dragon-bomber jet which forms the head, body, and shoulders

GoseiShark- A shark-submarine that forms the left arm and hand.

GoseiPhoenix- A phoenix-jet that forms the right arm and hand.

GoseiSnake- A Snake-Shinkansen that forms the left leg, waist, and right thigh of the robot. The snake head is the foot.

GoseiTiger- A Tiger-Tank that forms the right leg. The tiger head is the foot.


There are a total of 17 GoseiHeader joints on GoseiGreat. Take that as you will. Whereas the rangers will use the cards to summon the Machines, the robo series is fairly unrelated to the cards, with the Headers taking over. The rest of the toyline is totally dedicated to the card system.

A set of GoseiHeaders which includes the MantaHeader, HammerHeader, and NokogiriHeader. (Sawfish) The heads can be swapped out for GoseiShark's. Nokogiri's saw can spin.

GoseiGreat can combine with the 3 Seakku headers to become "Seakku GoseiGreat", where the Hammer and Sawfish attach to GoseiGreat's hands, and MantaHeader forms a new head, with a shark-based design, resembling CaptainShark.




Randic Brother Set:

A set of GoseiHeaders including the StagHeader, TyrannoHeader, and DigHeader (possibly a mole), that can be swapped with either GoseiSnake and GoseiTiger. StagHeader belongs to GoseiSnake, as does Tyranno (orange in color). DigHeader which is yellow, belongs to Tiger.

GoseiGreat can combine with these headers to become "Landic GoseiGreat". Stag forms the new head, while Tyranno and Dig swap out with Snake and Tiger to become feet. The SnakeHeader and TigerHeader are then rejoined at the knees.

Info- A Mascot Robo, probably Data Sypher, is coming out as well. It transforms from a Case, to it's Mascot Robo Form, and then to its real Robo Form. It comes with one GoseiHeader, and can possibly combine with GoseiGreat. If it is DataSypher it seems to be able to read all the Dice Oh cards.

Furthermore, the 15 existing GoseiHeaders can be utilized by the combined Sypher/GoseiGreat in its finishing move. Not sure if the 15 are on the formation to start out with, or if they join to perform the finisher.



Tensouder Info:

The Tensouder is shaped like a Moai head. It can be worn like a bracelet, and resembles the DragVisor of Ryuki. However, it seems to be adjoined to the hip when not in used. Activates the Gosei cards.

Gaotiger's a bad example, because it belonged to a white ranger and not a pink one. Gingat counts though. Mechas hardly ever have a lot of pink, which I guess is for merchandising reasons - most boys won't want a pink toy.

If they get around to releasing new Season 3 MMPR merchandise, I think one of the biggest requests, if not the #1 request for Bandai America, is an accurate version of the Shogun Megazord, without the Pink Shogunzord that doesn't exist in the show.

Yes, recolouring that zord made the Shogun Ultrazord look obvious as to what it really was - a toy. That was a bad misjudgement on Bandai's part. Mastodon has the proper M design this time, so I do think the season 2 and 3 stuff will be more show accurate too, if they do re-release them.

I understand that most pink mecha are barely pink, Gaotiger could have easily been a Pink mecha was my point... as a white tiger with pink stripes makes more sense than a pink tiger with white or black stripes.

Gaotiger looks like a Pink mecha because of the Pink stripes was the point I was trying to make Digifiend. It wasn't Pink yet it had more Pink than some of the other pink mecha ive seen.

Gingat was confusing... pink fluff ball to white cat?

GoseiPink's phoenix I'm having issues with because it is supposed to be a phoenix/jet yet there is barely any pink except for the header. Even BoukenPink's sub had more pink!

Accordingly, it looks like that both Red and Pink have been decided and that Kento Ono could be in Goseiger. Again, I am not 100% sure but it looks like that Kento is in (either as Blue / Black) and that our Red and Pink have been decided.

Perhaps Shokotan will have a smaller role...and I bet on my two cents that the second list was an updated version of the first list, seeing that I read through that thread on 2ch. (And I feel that the second list looks better IMO.)

The problem with that mindset is that, you decide to give a show a chance, and its crap. Or you give a completley original looking show like Ohranger a chance......and its crap.

In my mind, I like to think of Evolver. To me, it was a two person Metalder. It wasnt bad, but it was definitely the finest example of rehash. Toei has shown 3 times already that it has run out of ideas. To me, its like (idk what it is with me and quotes today) an old W saying "Fool me once, shame on...shame on me. Fool me y' cant get fooled again"

Well Black and Blue have their entire animal shown... pink's beak kinda seems out of place since all the other animals have teeth/ fangs and her phoenix's beak has nothing. I guess its something to further distinguish the Pink from the others again like the white rim on Mako's helmet that never was really explained

It doesn't surprise me Chiaki is the weakest due to him not doing the samurai thing growing up like everyone else did, nor does it surprise me that Ryuunosuke is the strongest, he does after all seem the most dedicated to the craft, even more so than Takeru in some aspects.
