The Earth has been in a lot of shots in the promo pictures. LoL. I like it, very retro. I have high hopes for this Sentai... just wonder how many episodes (if they're called that) Goseiger will get. I still hope they'll have an evil senshii... it's been awhile since we've really had a true evil senshi to make trouble forthe good senshi. I think the Nejiranger were the last evil senshi, with AbareKiller being the last evil warrior, or would that be Wolzard? Anyway, it'd be nice to see as well as who the cast is. Can't wait for the promo clip!

Sentai doesn't call them episodes (i.e. Go-onger was GPs, Shinkenger is Acts) but we don't know what term they'll use for Goseiger's eps yet. AbareKiller is the last evil Ranger, but Wolzard was the last evil warrior (when he heel face turned, he was a ranger-like ally).

I know this sounds random, but in the group shots the girls usually have their legs touching and the guys have them separated, but here its the reverse for yellow and blue. I guess it fits blue being older/wiser/more mature (i.e. possibly more rigid, uptight). pink has a boukenpink-ish pose to me.

I know we don't know what the Goseiger episodes will be refered as and I think Gingaman, GoGo-V, Timeranger, Gaoranger, Hurricaneger, Magiranger, Boukenger, Gekiranger, Go-onger and Shinkenger are the only Sentais to use something other than "Episode". Not to be nit-picky either, but they don't call them "Rangers" in Sentai, they're called either a hero, heroine or warrior. "Ranger" is a Power Rangers term.

isnt the term senshi used too? i think its a mistake people will continue to make since ranger is found in a lot of the series names. its like people calling mecha zords. its something hard to stop once you get in the habit of it.

Yes, in tokusatsu they refer to the team as a "senshi". In Sailor Moon for instance, Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus are referred to as the "Inner Senshi", whereas Sailor, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Saturn are referred to as the "Outer Senshi". LoL. Mr. Pink, I know of the switching of terms between Toku and American Toku because I do it sometimes to but I just wanted to address the bold word because it spoke to me. LoL. It would surprise me if they did call them "Episodes" but I could seen them using biblical references as well as other things such as "Chapters", "Missions", "Volumes", etc. As long as the episode is good, I don't care what they call them! LoL.

Well Yellow is supposed to be the most mature one so the stance I guess is sort of understandable. I can't remember what they said of Blue... I think the oldest but I'm not sure. I think Pink is said to be the motherly one, Black is said to be the hotheaded one and Red is said to be the optimistic one. The poses sort of go hand in hand just a little, I'm still trying to understand the group pose. LoL. This is the second time the ladies have been on the outside of the group pose. LoL. It'd surprise me if their was no sixth warrior and just five this year.

There's been quite a few sixth's in a row... (i count magimother as one though she appears to be more of a ranger like ally... or the sentai equivalent). Abaranger was the last five member team. I just mentioned the leg thing because in power rangers i knew if the sentai counterpart was male or not... and blue and yellow completely switch that concept around.

I meant like just them, the five Goseiger: Red, Black, Blue, Pink and Yellow... they start and end it. No extra warriors... sixth, seventh, whatever, just those five. I think GoGo-V was the last to have a start and finish five senshi without an extra warrior coming in. Sure, Abaranger was the last senshi with five but they started with three, added one later and temporarily added another near the end of it all (joining the team-wise). It's just been awhile and I'd like to see that. LoL. If not, then maybe the sixth warrior to be Green. LoL.

I think it would more likely be white or a metallic (more likely silver than gold) considering another sea or sky is more likely than another land tribe member

the designs are cool and all. i hope the series doesnt drag on tho as so many sentai series do now. itd be great to see an evil team 2 oppose our heroes!

well yea. obviously. but the drag i dont want to see is the middle plot lines. like in shinkenger, there was a plot up through gentas introduction. ever since he showed up tho, its more or less been the same episode every week. battle monster, kill monster (sometimes with new power up_, go in mecha to kill big monster (sometimes with power up help). the only thing thats really moved the plot along was Akumaro holding on to Uramasa and Dayu's shamisen. and that was dragged out for no reason. it could've easily been a five episode arc. its been way to many. and now that were in the final 6-7 episodes of the show, theres gonna be too much thrown at the audience all at once. stuff that they couldve and shouldve spread out.

I honestly can't stress enough how I feel about these designs. I just love the old school/original look hey have, and how the helmets have the lips.

As for the rumored cast, I'm not sure how I feel about them yet. Red, Blue, and Pink aren't bad, but Yellow and Black seem kinda plain (could just be the picture). But I guess it's the overall acting and show appearance that matters, right?

I have high hopes for Goseiger too! I really do hope that the cast (if it is really them) do execute their roles very well. I don't really care about how they look and everything (I'll save the porn and X-rated stuff until next time, lol)--the art of acting is what really strikes me the most. (And trust me, I am also a bit of an arts person. ;))

lol True on both accounts...creepy Sentai casters haha ugh jk. But I did do a double-take on Gosei Pink, not just Yellow, because Rika Satou also looks like Kotoha (Suzuka) just with long hair like Mako (Rin). This cast pic looks almost exactly like Shinken's pose, but the blue ranger looks like Genta, and black looks like Ryu and Chiaki combined, only a little.

Anyways, hope the villains look cool too. xp =]

I am ready to say goodbye to Mako... yes I know everyone will think its the end of the world... but she hasn't really changed or developed... she started out pretty fierce and awesome but she fizzled out very quickly like Shinkenger in general in my opinion. I'm ready to move on to GoseiYellow!

Agreed, Mako hasn't done a damn thing but "see into" Takeru's facade as somebody who doesn't care. Her focus episodes have involved other characters each time. She's just not that exciting of a female lead. Now Miu on the other hand, was...exciting. To say the least!

Anyways, with the cast already revealed, I'm really looking forward to seeing them in action. I don't care about their looks or how hot they are (and to be honest I am not a person who swoons over the female senshi like the rest of you boys are), it's how well they execute their roles in the season.

But ok, even if the villains suck, they usually look cool enough. It was obvious, but I was right-the symbols are: Land, Air, and Sea. It looks funny tho, we have a similar-Go On Wings-thing , but Red and Pink now. Blue's the 'only Water-based one' right now. And Snake for Black fits with Tiger. Still like it though and the weapons are hella big for everyone, haha. Enough, but they are.

Some interesting tidbits about the actors/actresses about their ages.

Hamao's the youngest (he's 18), Ono, Chiba, and Niwa are all 20 (Chiba will be turning 21 in March), and Satou's the oldest (she's 22 or 23). We've got a pretty grown cast this year.

Now, I'm going to be honest to say that I never ever expected someone representing this company to be in the show because of such names like that. To be honest, we have heard his voice in that promo. And he sounded young. Sounded. He could just have a very high-pitched voice. But like I've said before, I'd like to see a Kai-like leader/red out of Gosei Red.

It would be nice if he could redeem the whole young red leader thing... I think a lot of the greatest character loving/swooning occurs when someone starts totally against them and then does a 180. Judging actors appearances for their performance may not be the best idea but it does add an element to the character of the senshi in question. Sometimes appearances don't mesh with the character archetype given to them. So I guess we should all wait and see.

I thought this. Got a Dragon and a Phoenix for Sky... both of which could easily have been fire also. I know a Dragon can be either, but paired with Phoenix, Fire does make sense.

im getting a go-onger vibe from blue and pink in particular... yellow reminds me of the head of the yellow zord vehicle thing the mmpr 2010 green ranger rides smashed together with the go go dozerYeah, pink definitely reminds me of the Gold and Silver mecha from Go-onger/RPM. Yellow looks like a cross between the yellow and blue MMPR Dinozords I think.
