I get what he is trying to say.. He is trying say that Shinkenger's Mecha formation is the same as Go-Onger like G12 and Sameri Ha-Oh..

I am sure that Shinken's writers were striving for something parallel to connect with last season. If they are not ever going to have the same sentai count then maybe there could be a similarity elsewhere. Not that having one or infinity sentai (soldiers?) makes a difference, what is important is the story and how the characters interact with in it. I think we (those who grew up watching Power Rangers) are just so used to (spoiled in) expecting an even to even number when (if) they do team-ups.
I would like not to say it is coincidence that the mecha (if there are more on the way) be frickin' huge and bulkier than last years...but where will it end? Would not the mecha designs have to be more and more bulkier to compete with the prior years sentai machine especially for the primary machine...to have a chance for comparison...or is my thought process completely off here...
