Power Morpher help.... [Archive]

So my friend and I are looking to get some Power Morphers off line seeing as it looks like the current MMPR line isn't releasing any and even if they do, I have a feeling it won't look good at all LOL! So what would you guys suggest our first step being? Where should we look? What should we look for? I'm really not familiar with buying stuff off of eBay and stuff like that so please help! Thanks guys.

ebay is probably your best bet but if you don't have an account or a credit card, it's going to make online shopping difficult, but not impossible if they alow things like paypal
or money orders..you could check amazon and other spawns of that site as well...or you could see if a member here has one they're willing to sell or trade...or any of the other power ranger websites

Ok so I checked eBay and the cheapest I saw was like...dang I don't remember the exact price, between $59 and 91. Will I find any cheap ones?! LOL! I guess something like $60 isn't so bad for such a rare toy. But should I be wary of morphers that are cheap? I think I'm just gonna get the "Power Gun"/mopher set and buy some custom stickers and call it a day.

hey if you got the money to blow on a box set more power to you, i got one off of ebay mint for 12 dollars...mind you this was years ago, how ever at the time i wasn't to heavy in to collecting an shamefully destroyed it...but long story short...you can find great deals even now...but the great thing is...you just need a morpher that works...opens closes lights...and then you're good to go...because you already obviously know about repo labels and like you said you can call it a day but just so it doesn't seem like i'm blowing hot air...have a look at this auction lol

^Damn that is cheap. Of course they don't have one of my favorite coins/one I was planning to wearing, the Mastadon. Guess I could find that on it's own. I'll make a new eBay account when I get home. (Made one when I was like 12 but haven't logged on since LOL!)

I saw this Power Morpher review on YouTube where dude had the actual belt holder which I WANT! I can't remember what video it was though or if he provided a link to a site that made the holder but I hope to get that too.

you could get the zyu holder but that just spells rare which = expencive...or you could go with a prop maker..which i would

and the power coins ive found can be as low as a penny, i kid you not...lol and looking at the auction again...that does suck they have every coin but the one you wanted

It's difficult to get a Power Morpher off Ebay, believe me lol. I managed to get one eventually though. Just stick with it and you'll succeed :D

Ok so everytime I bid, I get outbidded automatically.....any advice? LOL!Somebody must have automatically got it set up to put in a new bid every time somebody outbids them - so the only way to defeat them is to outbid their maximum bid. Of course, you don't know what that is... persistance pays off I guess.

doesn't ebay automatically due that if someone else's max bid is higher than your own?

I have to agree though that raising your bids and trying to outbid them is the only solution though I do it toward the end so as not to create a bidding war early in the auction

Ok....I'm pissed. At the last minute, LITERALLY the LAST MINUTE, someone outbidded me. I tried to put like 2 dollars on it but my computer wanted to act slow at that precise time. NOOO!!!! Now I have to keep up with the other one that I didn't really want but oh well. I got like 9 hours with that one.

I WON!!!! The only issue is the credit card I'll use with PayPal. Question, does the credit card I use have to go onto my PayPal account? Like will it be my default form of payment? I plan on using either my mom or my sister's credit card or my friend's debit card. I eventually plan on getting my own debit card but for now, I need someone else's card. Will it be ok if I use someone else's card and then down the line use my own card?

yea just add the card to your paypal account( you can add a bank account and do it straight from there to) then later when you get yours you can delete the first and add yours. no biggie

the holder alone can run you about 80 bucks... wont get much cheaper than that.. unless you find a repro... i got the link for repro for 15
but you'd have to ask the guy if hes making more

edit: I just now got why they're called a buckler

when they're in the holder the back looks like a belt buckle...check it out lol (this maybe a joke on this robot's part...will you fall for it :D)

By the way, in some episodes, they are clearly shown not to be wearing the morphers at all - like when Kat stole Kim's coin and tried to steal Aisha's, both were in bags. And in Blue Ranger Gone Bad, same deal. Clone Billy stole the morphers from the other five rangers, and hid them in his bag.
