Saw an action figure in Poundland today called Super Samurai Warriors. The characters depicted on the pack looked like Shinkenger with different helmets. The figure itself was apparently some sort of enemy footsoldier. The joke's on the manufacturer though. Even if Shinkenger was getting a PR adaptation, the toys wouldn't be out until next year, so no kid's going to think it's a Ranger figure! If Samurai Force had been the current season, maybe, but as it is... anyway, the sooner this trash gets sent back to the distibutor the better.

Good find - yes they are. But there was only one figure in the ones I saw, rather than four.

The manufacturer is definitely due a lawsuit from Bandai, they've ripped off SPD as well!

Welcome to the wonderful world of "Boot Leg" Toys. Their are some cool ones out there and some real crappy one out there too. Normally made in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, or sometimes even Mexico.

I forgot to add, the stripes on those "ninja" figures have been out since I don't know when i've seen them in the dollar store way before we even new what shinkanger was, but the spd figures..though i've never seen them myself are definit rip offs..along with the famed "raptor storm" figures and other alien ranger symbol, space ranger body and ninja storm helmets that are around
the samuri ones tend to only have what looks to be a cloth mask, with "robotic" eyes...a common feature awhile ago (at least a year or two) was to have the chest light up with one single LED
lol I use to by them because I wanted to customize them

Look again. The yellow one on the right side of the packaging looks just like the Shinkenger torso. You can make out some sort of emblem where the Shiba clan logo belongs. I did say the helmet was different, it is just a hood as you say.

I see what you mean, but does that toy actually predate the reveal of the official Shinkenger designs?
