It's not. I run an EC fan blog and I have been following this news for a while now. This:http://www.amtcworld.com/the-results/top-100/erin-cahill is the closest thing we have to an official Erin page right now and as you can see it's been on the table for a while.
She's in the very first scene of the episode, and you can see her face perfectly for more than one minute. And her voice is quite unique too. Her character's name is Calleigh.

The sequel isn't even mentioned in the BHC article on Wikipedia, so you're almost certainly correct about it being direct to DVD. A cinematic relase would've been noted already, there are articles for films not due for a year or two.

Just fyi - Erin (Jen, PRTF) is supposed to be in tonight's episode of USA network's new hit show, Necessary Roughness at 10pm. I'm not sure in what capacity she'll be featured in the episode, but she flew down to Atlanta for the guest spot, so hopefully she'll get more air time. You can also catch the episode online later this week on www.USANetwork.com (http://www.usanetwork.com/).
