Toku Dreaming

Formally known as "Power Rangers Dreaming", but since having another type of Toku dream, that title seems outdated.

This was an old thread of mine from RT.

Anyway, the concept is simply this:

Have you ever had a dream where there were Power Rangers or some other form of Toku in your dream? If so, discuss it here, if you don't feel it's too private.

I'll start. I've quite a few dreams where Power Rangers made an appearance. Recently, I had a Kamen Rider dream.

I was standing next to Kit and we go to walk through a window pane and though I called out "Kamen Rider" and pulled out my Advent Deck to pass through, all I did was run into the window. I could not pass through.

I had one. I was fighting a monster alongside the Dino Thunder Rangers and their Megazord in a comic book similar to the comics made by Dreamwave.

I had a certain number of dream some years ago where Urara and Hikaru were my parents, and in at least one I rode on a palamino Pegasus along side Isamu riding Unigolon and Kai riding Valkyrion. Another dream had me with a number of characters from various sentai shows, and we were at my old house I lived in in California. Urara was even in it and gave me a hug that made me feel once more within the dream like a loved son of hers.

...and for the record, the name TimeKaiser I use as a screenname at a couple/few other websites is the name I came up with for a mecha combo of the palamino Pegasus and whatever the heck my Majin form might've been.

I had a dream once where I was driving along the street (well in the passenger seat behind the driver's seat) and I saw the Lightspeed Rangers. They were fighting Batlings. This was strange since at the time, I had never watched the season. It's possible I only saw them as a result of seeing them in a fan video.

I had one where I was in a Forever Red situation. The only one I remember seeing out of the corner of my eye is Andros, and I only know that cause he had his Spiral Saber in hand.

Anyway, we were fighting Chillers. Why? I don't know. And we were fighting on a smaller scale battlefield. There were streets on either side of this land we were fighting on.

Anyway, I look at Nick and I'm like "Quick. Hand me your morpher." He hands it over, but he's got a smile on his face after he does.

I do the Mystic Force morph, but I don't feel any different. I think he might've given me a fake. Why else would he have given me his morpher instead of using it himself?

I had sort of a short dream, as I remember it, anyway.

Me and Doggie are standing just outside where my job used to be.

I'd say we were standing on the sidewalk, on the other side of the parking lot, by the street.

We're standing there and all of a sudden there's an explosion from where my job sits (or sat I should say). All I remember is seeing the windows blow out.

Freaky.

I had a dream where I was one of the Zeo Rangers. Not sure which one. I'm gonna guess either Blue or Green (since I'm not a girl and the Red Ranger led the way).

Anyway, the skies were gray and these (http://www.supersentai.com/database/1995_ohranger/images/oh-vi-baracticas.jpg) things were in the sky.

They are in the sky over, of all places: an elementary school.

We tip toe in there, again why I don't know. Why not charge in there to kick some ***? Anyway, we expect to find enemies in there, so we're prepared at all times, but no villains appeared anywhere in the building. Weird.

I once dreamed I was part of a five ranger team that, outside of the dream in real life, does not exist. It was sorta car themed, I think. I can't remember any real specifics of the suit designs. The five colors were the same as Carranger/ PR Turbo, and I was green. Also I remember that at least the generic weapons of pink and green could combine, and the generic ones of blue and yellow could combine as well, and both had a targeting display identical to the one that I later saw in Go-onger/PR RPM. And to explain what I meant by generic, here is something that might help you understand: In the context of my dream, if it had been Go-onger, the weapons would have all been manta guns.

If you've played Ocarina of Time and Ninja Gaiden Sigma, you'll be able to put the following dream into context.

Okay, well, I don't remember where I was or how I got to where I was, but I walked into this room. Bars slammed down in front of the door I came through (just like Ninja Gaiden Sigma), I saw pictures of Rita Repulsa on the wall and there were lasers shooting out of the panels in the wall, so I was in danger, here. My goal was to shoot the targets that had Rita on them. I was supposed to shoot them with a bow and arrow (like OOT).

Here's one I had the other night. I keep forgetting to post.

I must've been a villan, otherwise I would've been ambushed, I think.

So, I'm coming to this forest clearing and I see Klank and Orbus to the left, and Spitflower (monster from MMPR S1) on the right.

Anyway, Klank (with Orbus silent), Klank says to me:

"You've got the power."

He didn't say it like a question, but more as if he was telling me that it was something I possessed.

I guess this qualifies as there was a Ranger appearance.

I just had this dream. I mean practically JUST had it. I just got up about 15-20 minutes ago, but it's still fresh in my memory, so here goes:

It started out as a really cool dream. There's Blade (the Vampire-hunting superhero), and a bunch of people joining up as part of a resistance. The plot was this: there were vampire-demon things in this building we were in. We were making our way towards them and the big boss, collecting weapons, fighting these things as we encountered them, losing fighters. Meeting fighters that didn't want to join because they didn't want to die as a group (as if staying in their small factions was going to be any better).

The dream began to change and I found myself as part of the story, as opposed to simply watching. I saw Nick with his suit on, but not his helmet. He and I think it was TJ that came towards us out of this room. There were 2 Red Rangers. The second Red Ranger is kind of fuzzy.

The dream led to a theater, no group, just me and my weapons I had collected along the way. The boss was supposed to be talking about human extermination or something and I was prepared to fight. Next thing I know, I have a bunch of hangers in my lap. Then there's a show put on, where a bunch of guys run up to the boss with swords, but this turns out to be a show.

Next comes a few people coming down to congratulate him on his little show. I find myself talking to this cute girl. Somehow or another she's laying with her head in my lap, and talking.

Then the dream ended.

It went from being a cool dream to being a love story dream? Not sure how I feel about that.

Here's one I had the other night.

I'm at a house and I see the Turbo Megazord and then the Rescue Megazord in the Front yard.

I'm the Red Turbo Red Ranger, in full costume. :redturbo:

Here's a couple old ones I still remember.

I'm coming out of an alley (or on my way, anyway) and I see the Saber-tooth Tiger Dinozord run by me but it's slightly bigger than a motorcycle, no more.

I look to the right and I see EVERY zord I had ever seen (up to that point). Not long after this this, I saw an ACTUAL picture that was reminiscent of this dream. The picture, being from Super Sentai. A movie, I believe.

If anyone has ever played Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon, you'll probably understand this dream.

In Mystical Ninja starring Goemon, when you train with the robot Impact, there's a level you do where you can knock down buildings and stuff, destroying things, gaining points that translate into ammo.

Well, having this dream made me realize just how dangerous zords can be. They're robots, but they're still HUGE.

Anyway, in this dream, I'm running from house to house, going down stairs and hopping over stuff. As I desert each location, the Triceratops Dinozord charges through them like nothing. I'm only JUST escaping being run over.

I just had a dream last night that Billy was in the passenger seat and Kimberly was in the back with me and she was giving driving directions to someone. Forgot where we were going...
