Really interesting. It was the last Season Premier that I watched on the original air date and was one of my favorites as well. I has been a while so I am rather foggy. I consider this the first Disney season regardless of the fact that Wild Force was the first official season.

Lewis very pointedly detested first-half Turbo. Just like everyone else. Narratively and tonally, Ninja Storm is that half-season for an entire season.

Ninja Storm was alright. I enjoyed the higher budget, and the Rangers were alright. However I hated Lothor, he was a joke.

The premiere was pretty good... never grew to like Shane.

For some reason Ninja Storm didnt feel as cheap to me as Wild Force did

The only reason we GOT Ninja Storm was because Doug Sloan went to Disney and said "If we move production to New Zealand, we can cut the production costs IN HALF." And that's what we got. Ninja Storm had half the budget (roughly) of Wild Force. They managed to get more bang for their buck by filming in New Zealand, but it's still a lot less money than had been going into the series prior.

I really enjoyed this season as they changed it up a bit letting Tori be another color except the typical pink and yellow. I also liked how close knit they all were almost like a family.

Ninja Storm was a nice change of pase compared to other seasons. While the previous five tried to be serioues, it was a nice change of pace as it was more goofy and light hearted. As well it gave us one of the best villains around, Lothor.

Ninja Storm is one of my favorites. I remember watching Ninja Storm. I think I watched this season more than any other season. I loved Tori, Hunter, Dustin, & Blake. Cam & Shane were cool too. Probably my second favorite Disney season.

PRNS as awesome, the premiere as cool i really liked of they new concept the new things of NS bring they change the change the female yellor ranger to a yellow male i really liked of the villans and the rangers too

The style of the Opening as pretty cool and the them as awesome too, the idea of Disney have to bring back the them song in the battle aganst of they go to destroy the monsters

The Megazords are pretty awesome, the suits are awesome, the rangers are cool, Shane,Tori and Dustin are cool, Shane as pretty cool red ranger, Tori is hot and very pretty, Dustin is really funny, i liked liked to of the Hunter and Blake they are my favorites in NS, Cam as cool

I remembered when i watched the premiere thinking about how awsome it was having the sports integrated so much into the show. I was pretty young at the time and seeing the surfing, skateboarding, and the motorbike racing made me scream with excitement

I groaned when I saw that. It felt like they were trying to cash in on the "extreme sports" phenomenon two years too late. However, I did grow to respect it as time went on and the sports was more than just a mindless gimmick

well the ideia of the invisiportals in DT as awesome but for example LG,LRS,TF and WF dont have teleport, i liked of the way of they transport for the places the NS !!!

The season was ok not the best but it was ok. The Thunder Rangers were awsome.

And the premiere was alright

The best parts of the season for me were the two Thunder Ranger arcs. If only they could have portrayed Hunter and Blake as tortured souls instead of misguided good guys. Most of their time evil seemed as though they were just brainwashed like any other evil human ranger we had seen prior (heck in the second arc they actually were brainwashed). Still, we got to see some great Ranger vs Ranger and Megazord vs Megazord footage for a wide range of episodes.

In my opinion, Ninja Storm as an overall season was not that great. It made the season prior look far better than it actually was. I remember often being bored with Ninja Storm during it's initial run. The show didn't actually start picking itself up until the last few episodes, and even three or four spectacular episodes couldn't save the season. Ninja Storm was just one big parody of PR, similar to what Carranger was to Super Sentai. Okay, maybe Carranger was worse, but still.

Years later, when I learned what Ninja Storm could have been (Hexagon), I literally wanted to throw a chair to the wall. Hexagon sounded like a fan's greatest dream (and with a fan running show as a story editor, in a way was a fan's dream). I know some people don't agree with me, but I personally would have rather had Hexagon any day of the week over what we ended up getting (although it probably would have killed the universe as we know it, but I could have accepted Abaranger footage acting as a reboot to a new universe).

The whole Samurai arc was great. Plus it gave Cam very good character development.

yh, i really liked of the Samurai Journey as really awesome know about Sensei past and Lothor too, we find out Lothor and the Sensei are brothers and there true names and i liked to of the Thunder rangers arc with Thunder stranges and Return of Thunder !!

There was sure a lot of fourth wall breaking in NS, which was pretty refreshing. Also, I remember being SO excited that Blue was a girl and Yellow was a boy ... so cool! The final 6 episodes are awesome the final plot of Lothor to make the Abyss of Evil bring back is evil troops to rule the world and the final battle aganst Lothor as pretty awesome

Shane - as a awesome red ranger and i liked is atitute about be a ranger and in the start we want to do all alone and not join forms in the others, i liked the way of he leads the team and always be alert aboout when the Hunter and Blake appear and always suspect are something weird about them, i liked too is backstory with Skayla and is battleyzer as awesome and see when is brother come and try to make Shane a grow men and finds Perry finds out of Shane is the red rangers od the NS rangers, as pretty cool to see the conflit between Shane and Hunter about as be the leader, and i think Shane show be a good leader of the team !!!

Tori - She is awesome and very hot i liked a lot of her and i liked of the fact she is surfing and try to prove the others she is not just a girl, and i liked her romance with Blake as cool, and she Tori give a opportunity to the Blake and Hunter when they go Lothor ship as cool. i liked when Tori goes alone for another dimension and as to fight aganst is friends because in that dimension is all upside down, as cool see a girl as a new blue ranger as awesome and i liked when Tori have change is hair style as something i notace in the moment, but i think she is prove to a great blue ranger

Dustin - He is the first yellow guy ranger and as a great change she a male with the yellow color, i liked the star of Dustin have with the Thunders and the way of him trust them sow easy and like he did with Marah and he see, she is good person not Evil, i liked when Dustin became famous and became really proud of him that as pretty cool, and show the others he is deserve respect, and he liked when he atcs like a goofy

Hunter - my favorite ranger, he is the leader of the thunder rangers and i liked is atitute about Dustin in the start and i liked when he have is battle aganst Blake when Chobo put the Hunter and Blake fight between them, i liked when Hunter dont accepted Shane be a leader because Hunter and Blake always work alone with anyone and Sensei, but i think he is a great Crimpson ranger

Blake - he is a good ranger i liked he is made team with Hunter, they are the two Thunder rangers i liked when Hunter comes and goes help the others goes enter in Lothor Ship and they are deceive be Chobo and fall in be control of the Lothor, as cool when Hunter and Blake fight aganst each other, and as pretty cool the Thunders join the team

Cam - he is cool i liked is develoment of the character because he dont believe the Shane,Tori and Dustin are the chosen to became a rangers , he is the one who created all Megazords tecnology and is path to became a ranger as cool, when he becames the Green Samurai ranger as awesome and is journey shows the way of Lothor birth, he is a awesome ranger and always have great ideias for the rangers arsenal

I think PRNS have a awesome cast all the rangers are cool but my favorites are Shane,Tori,Hunter and Blake

I liked Blake, Dustin & Hunter for personal reasons. They were my 10 year old crushes. Tori was awesome. I wanted to be like Tori. Shane and Cam I could have done without however. Ninja Storm bothered me and still does. There was too much humor, most notably on the villain side. I don't know if anyone could really take Lothor seriously. Even the most badass villain on the team, Zurgane, was dumbed down by giving in to Marah and Kapri's annoying gimmicks. And speaking of, the two of them were incredibly annoying. I distinctly remember groaning any time it'd shift to a scene aboard Lothor's ship. Just a bad series as far as villains go. What ever happened to that badass team of ninja space aliens that showed up in 'Prelude To A Storm' to kidnap the Wind Ninjas?

I don't recall it ever being mentioned about Shane's ethnicity, but Pua Magasiva who plays Shane is from Samoa ;).

Worst season ever. The Wind Rangers were airheads. The Thunder Rangers were idiot for believing THE MAIN VILLAIN OF THE SERIES about the death of their parents. The villains were a joke. The stories stupid.

The former was one of the most mature original story aspects on PR in years, if not ever, while the latter was beyond a joke. Cole confronts their killer and accepts their fate. Blake & Hunter get to meet their magical ghosts and never end up treating Lothor as anything more than just another seasonal main villain. Not to mention, Adler's killing of the Evans' is an integral aspect of his character, while we never get the slightest excuse for why Kiya offed the Bradleys (it sure had nothing to do with the whole scroll prophecy).

well the plot of the Cole Parents vs Hunter and Blake parents in my opinion they are pretty good by in my opinion the plot of the WF about Cole parents are my better !!!

Choobo was shrunk and became Marah's pet for like 10 episodes. It was once again what I call a "Dougism", which is "don't kill the Generals ever if you can help it".

Lothor - The main villan of the all NS as a cool villan and very humor and i liked of is plans to destroy the rangers. the way of he use the Thunder rangers to destroy the rangers, he is good to see is final plan in motion when he use Vexacus to destroy all is generals to open the Abyss of Evil and use the Power of the Samurai amulet to open, i liked when the final battle between the rangers and Lothor is awesome he almost destroyed the rangers and even toke is powers away, the final battles between the rangers and Lothor are awesome Lothor use is own zord to battle them and even destroy the Megazord of the rangers and open the Abyss

Zurgane - he is top general of the Lothor army and always go to battlefiled to please is Master, i liked the fact of he hateds the Thunder rangers in the start and try to destroy the rangers be himself even desabey Lothor orders, he is final plan to destroy the rangers are cool, use the rangers power spheres to created a even more powerfull and put the Zords out of comission for few moments, and i liked of is final battle aganst the rangers, and i liked of the fact he trys to prove the others generals he is the one and wants respect from the others, and id final moments as awesome

Vexacux - he is a awesome general and wants power and comes in the start to want the power to rule but Lothor bring him to is army but i liked a lot of him, he always plan something to make is move to became the new main villan and i liked of is ways and he trys to make fool of Lothor and i liked when him and Zurgane have is problems and Vexacus wants the Zurgane place and Vexacus he is always in the shadow and prepared is move to rule the universe, i liked when he begins to destroy the others generals like Zurgane,Motodrone and even try to destroy Shimazu, he is the final general and stay for battles the rangers and as awesome and even make the Thunders destroy is own Megazord to destroy him, but i think he is one of the best generals of the Lothor Army

Motodrone - A cool general and fights pretty well and i liked a lot of is style and is cloak as awesome and i liked the fact of him is be created by a humam experiment to make a Racer driver as cool, is battle skills as cool and fights a lot well and is very loyal and i liked is almost defeated the rangers a few times, and i liked is final battle aganst Vexacus as awesome

Shimazu - a cool general in the Lothor army and is first debut as with the Wolfs and i liked a lot is because he is the reason for the rangers use a new power a new Mammoth Zord and well he not fights to much but he is cool and i like when he join forces to Marah and Kapri to try to destroy the rangers but in the final he is destroyed by Marah and Kapri

Chobo - This silly, goofy creature can summon energy spheres which can trap victims. A plan he devised aganst the Rangers got him promoted to General, but after the plan failed, he was not only demoted, but exiled. Angry at the Rangers, he trys to destroy them, he is cool because he almost finish the rangers once and for all, and i liked he fights the Thunders rangers in Spaceship

Marah and Kapri - This duo is very funny i liked the act like silly and deceave all but all as part of the Lothor plan to complete is Master plan, they join forces with Vexacux to try make him battle the rangers, and they are pu away because Lothor dont have plans for them in is final plan, even build Zords to come to earth and try to destroy the rangers

All Villans in PRNS are my favorites and i think they are pretty Awesome !!!

The villains were a joke. The only one who had any real plans was constantly made fun of and the rest just sorta came up with idiotic plans. Vexacus was pretty cool.

The plot of the Thunder rangers are pretty cool, the fact of they are the one of the Most powerfull weapon in Lothor army as pretty awesome

I liked the way of they appear in the first battle and plan to use the Tsunami cycles aganst the rangers.

The first battle as pretty cool

Thunder Stranger I,II e III

The Thunder Rangers strike, leaving the Rangers in very with no much changes of fight aganst them,
The Thunder Rangers whip out the Thunder Staffs. They completely decimate the Rangers, and depart that as cool
Zurgane calls out the Rangers to prove himself to Lothor i liked of that battle Zurgane dont like much of the Thunder rangers and i liked when Lothor see that battle and call Zurgane to the Spaceship
I liked when the Thunder rangers come aganst for the second round and summon the Tsunami Cycles,They utterly destroy the Rangers with the cycles.
I loved the Thunder Zords are awesome, the classic battle of the Zords are cool, and when they form the Thunder Megazord as awesome the battle between Storm and Thunder Megazord are awesome the music of the battle between Megazords are pretty awesome, i liked of the fact even when the Thunders stolen the Power Sphere and they use aganst them and when they defeated the rangers live nice touch

The rangers come out of the Megazord and the morphers are really trash,They return to Ninja Ops and give Cam the morphers for repair. The Zords are repairing themselves nice touch
Zurgane use a new Alien to battle the rangers and Blake comes to save Tori but instead as injured
Tori helps Blake but as just a trick for Blake finds about the place where the rangers stay
Rangers battle the Monster and them Thunder Rangers appear and battle the monster and destroy him and go away
Thunder rangers take the sensei and go away

Lothor's troops celebrate the kidnapping of Sensei. They even make poor Zurgane dance.
When Sensei was kidnapped, he created a protective barrier around him, which the Rangers are able to use to track him.
The Thunders are taking him to the Mountain of Lost Ninjas, where they can retrive the Gem of Souls to break the Sensei's energy barrier.
As they ride to the mountains, Tori reflects on her actions, but Shane comforts her.
When the Thunder Rangers arrive at the Mountain of Lost Ninjas, they have to battle - you guessed it, Lost Ninjas, the Thunder rangers morphing sequence as cool
The Wind Rangers arrive to bail them out. They call a truce and team up to fight the undead ninjas, great moment the all 5 rangers fight together
After that's done, the Rangers battle each other for the Sensei.
To add to the mix, Zurgane appears in his very own Zord.
Tori summons the Megazord and pilots it on her own, great moment that one !!
Dustin and Shane continue fighting the Thunder Rangers, really cool
The Wind Rangers are losing, but they summon inner stregth to make a comeback, Tori takes aim and blasts at Zurgane's zord with the Dolphin laser.
Dustin hurls Shane at the Thunder Rangers for a fastball special.
Tori summons Power Spheres 5 and 6, forming the Turbine Combo, and destroys Zurgane's zord.
The Thunder Rangers use the Thunder Blaster on the Wind Rangers, and leave with the Sensei.
The Wind Rangers follow them to the Cavern of Spirits, and urge them not to destroy Sensei, Blake and Hunter tell the Wind Rangers that the Sensei killed their parents, which is why he must die.
Luckily, the ghosts of Blake and Hunter's parents happen to be at the cavern, and tell them that it was actually Lothor who killed them
Lothor shows up at the cavern, and attacks the Rangers. Blake uses the gem to deflect the blast, seemingly destroying Lothor.
Sensei and Cam go to the ocean, where Cam disposes of the shattered Gem of Lost Souls, lest it fall into evil hands.
After missing practice, Shane and Dustin wonder where Blake and Hunter went. Tori tells them that they've left
Blake and Hunter walk off into the mountains, unsure of their destiny.

This is the start of the Thunder rangers arc !!!

What did you think of the villains in Ninja Storm?

Wasn't a fan. They didn't seem very intimidating to me, they never seemed as serious as other villains like Master Org or Queen Bansheera

Marah and Kapri faking their idiocy at the end of the season? Good lord. The villains accounted for over 50% of Ninja Storm's failures simply because it was impossible to take them as a legitimate threat.

What did you think of the Thunder Rangers storyline?

Return of Thunder

When a famous motocross manager walks into the store, Dustin tries to show him his tape, but he is only interested in finding Blake and Hunter.
Reminded of Blake, Tori begs Dustin to let her borrow his bike so she can go take her mind off things.
Meanwhile, Blake and Hunter meet with Choobo, who has defected, and agrees to give the two access to Lothor's ship.
Blake catches up to Tori as she is biking, and lets her know that they have a way to get onto Lothor's ship.
The Wind Rangers discuss the Thunder Rangers' proposal, unsure whether to trust them or not.
The Thunder Rangers do infiltrate Lothor's ship, but it ends up being a trap, and they are caught.
The next step in Choobo's plan is to wipe their minds and make them hate the Wind Rangers again. Lothor is so impressed that he promotes Choobo to a general.
Back at Chargers, Blake and Hunter speak with the motocross manager who was looking for them. When Dustin comes up to them, he is totally blown off.
As Dustin tells his friends about the Thunders' strange behavior, a new monster is spotted.
The Rangers morph and find the monster
They are shocked when the Thunder Rangers arrive and attack them.
Their attack is stopped short when Blake's head begins to hurt.
The Wind Rangers focus on Toxipod, who can turn into a toxic cloud of gas. They lock arms and do a spin which blows the monster away.
Then they form the Storm Blaster and destroy the toxic snail.
Then they finish off the monster with the Megazord power, The Thunder Rangers attack with the Thunder Megazord.
Choobo uses the remains of Toxipod to put a freeze on the Megazords and teleport the Rangers away.
Rangers are trap in the Island

Cam and Sensei are freezing down in Ninja Ops. A freak cold front is lowering the Earth's temperature.
The three Wind Rangers find each other on the island. Shane chews Tori out for trusting the Thunders.
They eventually run into the Thunder Rangers, who insist on fighting.
An all out battle ensues between the Thunder and Wind Ninjas.
The battle eventually escalates to Rangers vs. Rangers.
Lothor complains about the temperature, and orders Zurgane to fix the heat on the ship.
As the Rangers fight, Hunter's memories begin to return.
The hesitation gives the Wind Rangers a chance to strike them down.
Blake and Hunter recover with their memories intact.
Choobo comes down and summons Super Toxipod.
He then puts Hunter back under the spell, and turns him against Blake.
The Rangers battle the new and improved version of their old foe, i really liked of this new form
The Wind Rangers save Blake from Hunter and teleport away.
They hide out in a cave, where they tend to Blake. They promise to help him get his brother back.
At Ninja Ops, Cam discovers the island, and that it is repsonsible for the cold front. Sensei feels that the Rangers are somehow involved.
An out of control Hunter roams the island, looking for his brother so he can destroy him.

Blake gives the Rangers bad news - the island they're on isn't on any map, and will soon sink.
He also tells them how he and Hunter became Rangers after their ninja academy was attacked by Lothor.
The Rangers are attacked by Toxipod. The engage in a shadow battle, and defeat him with the Striker.
Then they find Hunter. Blake fights with his brother, trying to break him free of the spell, awesome battle between Thunders
The Wind Rangers are kept busy battling Choobo, who retreats.
Hunter snaps out of the spell, and greets his friends.
Cam is finally able to contact the Rangers, and sends the Zords to bring them home.
They'll need them for more than transportation when Toxipod returns as a giant.
After destroying Toxipod with the Megazords, the Rangers use them to head home as the island sinks, the battle of Thunder and Storm Megazords together are awesome
At Storm Chargers, Kelly gives Blake and Hunter another chance, and hires them as stock boys.
At Ninja Ops, they are given an invitation to join the Wind Rangers, but they need time to think about it.
Choobo swears vengeance on the Thunder Rangers as he is banished from the space fortress.

While practicing on their bikes, Blake and Hunter are attacked by Choobo.
He ensnares them and sucks them into his backpack.
In this strange dimension, the Thunder Rangers battle an all powerful Choobo.
The Wind Rangers track down Choobo.
They strike him in just the right place to free the Thunder Rangers.
Choobo mind controls the Wind Rangers and turns the Storm Striker on the Thunder Rangers.
They resist the control long enough to give Hunter a clear shot, that as prettty cool see all 5 rangers together
The battle of the Megazords aganst Chobo as pretty awesome, When Cam sends the Rangers two Power Spheres, which combine into the Minizord, nice touch
The Minizord allows the two Megazords to combine into the Thunderstorm Megazord, he is a awesome combination see the Thunders powers and the Winds powers work as one Megazord as cool
Chobo became small as really funny and the Thunder rangers join the team

What did you think of the season premiere?
PRNS is ranked #2 overall on my list of favorite seasons ever, and one of the primary reasons for this is that the season is everything that the majority of the fandom credits Dino Thunder as being: the 'second coming' of MMPR. Not only does nearly every single character in NS have an analogue to and correlation with a character (or multiple characters) from MMPR, "Prelude to a Storm" is what "Day of the Dumpster" would've been were it not hampered by the producers' inexperience in getting the American and Sentai footage to mix and if the producers had started out with the goal of telling a consice and coherent story.

What did you think of the cast members (as Rangers) and who were your favorite?
It's been well-documented just how great the off-screen chemistry was between the NS cast, and it really percolates into the on-screen interactions between the characters, enhancing those relationships and making it easier to believe that the Rangers could work together as a collective whole. It also doesn't hurt that, like I alluded to above, each of the characters has an analogue with a character or characters from MMPR. A good case in point example of this would be Shane, whose character personality and leadership traits are a combination and reflection of the character personality and leadership traits of Jason, Tommy, and Adam, with a tiny bit of Zack and Rocky thrown in as well.

What did you think of the villains in Ninja Storm?
I keep alluding to NS and MMPR corresponding to and being analogues of each other, but the one area where this is the most apparent is in the case of the villains. People tend to rag on Lothor for being too 'silly', but, when you get right down to the 'nitty gritty', he's no more 'silly' than the character of Ivan Ooze, and is, in fact, the in-continuity equivalent to Ooze, and also exhibits character traits that are a reflection of Lord Zedd (circa Season 2) and Master Vile. The other villains also have analogues to villains from MMPR, and, beyond Lothor, a good example would be Choobo. Although he is the lowliest member of Lothor's army and is clearly meant to reflect the characters of Baboo and Squatt (and other 'bumbler' villains), the one area where he differs from Baboo and Squatt is that, unlike them, he has a defined role to play in the 'pecking order' of Lothor's army. He's also shown to be much more competent - despite being looked down on and treated as somewhat of a simpleton - than either Baboo or Squatt, with a good example of this being the plan that he comes up with during the "Return of Thunder" 4-parter, which was actually rather ingenious and only failed because he rather underestimated the Rangers and their resourcefulness.

What did you think of the Thunder Rangers storyline?
The Thunder Rangers storyline takes everything that worked with regards to MMPR's two major 'villain/Ranger' arcs (GWE and Kat's arc) and distills those elements down into a formula that allows the producers to spread the story arc out while simultaneously keeping it concise. Blake is clearly meant to reflect the character of Tommy and thus receives more 'focus' than Hunter, but one of the things that the Thunder Rangers arc does particularly well is that it still manages to tell us - as an audience - everything that we need to know about Hunter and his characterization even though he ultimately receives less 'focus' than his brother.

The Story of the past as cool we see Kanoi and Kiya and they are both brothers, we find out the Sensei in the past is not focus much in the Ninja Trainning, we see who the Cam Mother enter in the Ninja Academy and becames a first girl enter in the Ninja Academy and the Samurai Amulet, the battle between Cam and Kiya as pretty amazing really cool to see the dark powers of the Kiya in the start, and Kiya becames the NEW LOTHOR and as cast away to the Space, Cam returns to the Present as the New Samurai ranger and destroy the Monster and reveals to be a Green Samurai ranger, is Samurai Star Megazord as cool

Lothor come to face the ranger personaly and try to convince Cam to join is army and Sensei save them and take them to Ninja Ops and discuss about Lothor and take is powers back
The attack of the Lothor monster start in the city and the rangers battle in many front aganst Lothor monsters, Cam morphs as cool and battles one moster but is but is stung by the Sucker and is transformation begins but for nothing worst happens he is to defeate the monster
Lothor make the monsters begin to grow, the Storm Megazord destroys them
Cam finds Sucker again, and using Super Samurai mode, forces him to retract the venon, i liked a lot of the Super Samurai mode
Being the last monster left, Sucker is turned into a giant.
The Rangers destroy him with the Megazord in Samurai Storm mode really cool that formation
Back at Ninja Ops, Cam is given his very own ninja suit.

This Story arc as cool because explains the Lothor birth and the way of Cam became ranger !!

Cam is one of my 3 top favorite NS characters, and one of my top favorite Rangers of all time, and the way his character was handled both before and after he became the Green Samurai Ranger is one of the franchise's finer examples of how to handle a 'sixth Ranger', and has parallels with the way that the characters of Eric and Merrick were handled in Time Force and Wild Force, respectively. Beyond that, though, Cam's story arc also starts a trend that would be continued with Dino Thunder, SPD, and Jungle Fury in which the 'sixth Ranger' was introduced long before he became an official member of the team, giving the audience more time to get to know said character(s) before bringing them into the fold, as it were. Another thing that Cam joining the team did is that it gave NS its 'Alpha' - the one analogue to MMPR that the season had been missing - in the form of Cyber-Cam.

Okay, as long as you're not trolling. The sensei had the ability to transform into animals, notably a hawk in the first episode. When Lothor attacked, Lothor zapped him which stuck him in one of his animal transformations. The Sensei is naturally human.

Additionally, after WF ended, I was ready to call it quits with PR. I was staunchly against Ninja Storm until I saw the Kmart trailer. I think that I'd been coming around, looking back, because I did have all of the promos encoded, and I wouldn't have sought them out so much if I didn't care about the show. Maybe "staunchly against" is a bit strong, but I had my doubts about it until the trailer. Once that hit, dude, I was hooked. For one thing, the Rangers were KIDS again, which was a breath of fresh air for the franchise. Obviously, other people agreed, since NS did log some of the highest ratings in the ABC-ownership era. Of course, it was promoted all over as well, so that probably helped.

Although I do think there are a few things that they could've set up better pacing-wise, (such as the existence of the Scroll of Destiny and the Abyss of Evil), SBtC is a fitting finale to PRNS, is perfectly in keeping with the overall tone and feel of the season, and, IMO, one of the best finales in the franchise's history. Two things in particular about the finale that I enjoy are the ways in which it cements Lothor - once and for all - as one of the franchise's more memorable villains by revealing that his plan for conquering Earth is a bit more subtle on some levels than previous villains, and the ways in which it brings the Rangers - Shane, Dustin, and Tori in particular - full-circle. I'm also appreciative of how - in retrospect - the finale sets up and contributes to the overall 'continuity-heavy' vision for Power Rangers Dino Thunder (even though I do have complaints about some of the ways in which that vision was ultimately executed, most of them pertaining to Tommy's characterization, but that's not relevant to this topic). Well the final as pretty awesome and give a perfect end for the PRNS, even the final give lights for the start of the PRDT because we see Connor brother enter in the Ninja Academy, i think the final battle as perfect for the ultimate battle aganst the main villan because he is with such funny humor and in the final battle kiss *** the Ninja Rangers and destroy all of the rangers, the rangers dont have a change aganst him, because the final touch as perfect the 3 Rangers end up with Lothor Throw him to the Abyss of Evil

Did they refuse? As limited as my knowledge of the behind-the-scenes workings of PR is, I thought that the major reason there was no WF/NS team-up was because of problems with being able to secure the WF actors due to production of the PR franchise being moved to New Zealand. I count it as their first because it was their first season to be fully produced by them. Wild Force may be their "first season" but Saban started it, they only finished and I see it as a joint thing rather than just Disney. I've been watching Ninja Storm for about a week or so and it's been a pretty enjoyable experience. I'm at part 2 of "The Samurai's Journey".

What did you think of the season premiere?
-I felt that the first episode was a pretty solid introduction to the rangers, their allies, & the villians.

-The most interesting thing of course was Shane & Tori believing that the Power Rangers were just comic book characters despite the fact that the events of "Countdown to Destruction" happened 5 years prior and that the cities in California had been protected by Power Rangers for the past 10 years.

-I also found it interesting that all 3 of the core rangers spoke the "surfer lingo" and accents ala Shaggy from Scooby Doo. As an OCCASIONAL viewer back in 03, I thought only Dustin spoke like that.

Could someone explain the back story of zords? I didn't quite get Cam's explanation. First we see the zords in some type of garage and then they transform from a jet (red), a cruise ship (blue), & a ferris wheel (yellow). What's up with that?

The other was when the wind rangers came back to Ninja Ops and found the Thunder Rangers w/ Cam and then they demorphed and revealed themselves to be Blake & Hunter. Tori's shocked look and Blake apologizing was great.

Well the Thunder Rangers always my favorites rangers of the NS rangers, i always liked of there Megazord,and there story arcs really awesome "Thunder Strangers" and "Return of the Thunder" are really cool story arcs for the Thunder rangers and always liked when Thunders join to the Storm rangers and start to battle together aganst Lothor and the combination between both Storm and Thunder Megazord are awesome.

yeah, but Ninja storm is one of the very few suits that can look good with open visors.

To me it just looks so cool to see the actor in TOTAL costume including helmet.

Something else that I really like is the Tori/Blake relationship. From what I hear, it's not going to go anywhere :( but it's so cute seeing them flirt and stuff LOL! I loved in the "I Love Lothor" episode when apparently Blake's real admiration and quite possibly, love for Tori outlasted the monster's spell and Cam even said that he won her affection. He stood in from of Tori and protected her against like 3 blasts from the monster. I really thought that was a nice touch for their relationship.

What were your thoughts about Cam becoming the Green Samurai Ranger?I was a fan of the story of Sensei not wanting his son to be a Ranger because of the promise he made to his wife and forbidding Cam to be a Ranger. After a bit of campaigning on Cam's and the other Ranger's parts, Sensei allows him to be a Ranger. I really like it.

-Shane is totally reminding me of Jason. There is something about his character and leadership that really reminds me of Jason.

-"Eye of the Storm" is one of my favorite episodes of the season. I totally identified with the story of not feeling respected or understood by your older brother like Shane was with his. Loved this episode.

-Interesting that Lothor ended up turning the pig monster from Tori's focus episode, "Pork Chopped" into bacon which he ate. Kinda morbid too LOL!

-"Tongue & Cheek" was another fun episode. I ALWAYS wanted to see a ranger morph and scare off a normal, human criminal and we finally got that in this episode when the punks broke into Storm Chargers and Dustin took care of them.

-Spotted Mason "F'n" Truman in the Samurai's Journey trilogy as well as the young Sensei & Lothor twins being an actor who was in Xena years ago.

-Spotted Haley in "Good Will Hunter".

-Tori's focus "Wild Wipeout" reminded me a lot of a season 5 episode of Xena called "Married with Fishsticks" when Gabrielle gets knocked out (coincidentally also in water} and is in an alternate reality.

Zurgane's ambush of the rangers in first half "The Great Deception" was sheer brilliance. Making the rangers think that they were saving some rock climbers on to have them AND the crowd turn out to be Kelzak Furies, that was really good on whoever wrote that because like Tori said in that scene, "I so did not see that coming!


What did you think of the Ninja Storm theme song?The theme was pretty cool. It was more "pop rocky" which was different than the other PR themes at the time. I liked it. I thought about theme retaining the narration about the "three" a few times after we got Blake & Hunter and later on Cam.

What did you think of the villains in Ninja Storm?

Excellet, the story of the Generals killign each other off was brillant. I really liked Motordrone and Shimazu, thought they were really cool. Vexacus and Zurgrane made the story brillant a long with Marah and Kapri and although Chobo was incredibly annoying his story was fine.

I also quite liked some of the monsters and really liked Beevil.

Thats really truth but even sometimes they were diferents colours of the color of ranger he is even Tommy use green when he as white ranger.

A few more episodes is just going to pad it out more, which is why the Thunder Rangers storyline goes in circles and circles before they join the team. Disney was mandating lengthy multiparters to make DVD sales better. Storm Before the Calm tells its entire story in two episodes, which is pretty damn fantastic.

The Thunder Rangers storyline are cool but i have to agreed they could make them join of the Wind Rangers more soon because the fight to much in the side of Lothor but i think in "Return of Thunder" it as pretty cool because even when they join we see Shane and Hunter competing for the Leadship of the NS rangers.

Storm before Calm the plot for the Finale for the NS it as pretty i liked a lot but for shore could by made more of 2 episodes possible 3 or 4 parts.

Marah and Kapri faking their idiocy at the end of the season? Good lord. The villains accounted for over 50% of Ninja Storm's failures simply because it was impossible to take them as a legitimate threat.

I Loved Ninja Storm! I am watching it right now!
The quirky little lines from Dustin, the awesome action scenes along with the music.
And the stoyline was fantastic IMO.
Plus I would have to say that the filming style done for Ninja Storm was great and has not since been repeated. Which is a shame because I think it was some of the best in any of the series.

Ninja Storm has the emotional pull that I like in TV shows. Like in "Looming Thunder" when Shane confronts Dustin about his lack of punctuality and he cries out for help from Tori, who just sits quietly and looks away, then to Sensei who he knew had just taught him his lesson, but Sensei only says "You can only help yourself by your actions, not you words." You had no choice but to feel bad for Dustin because he was getting teamed up on and you felt his anger and frustration. It was an excellent scene that pulled at you because you are already starting to love the characters. The humor, the problems, the pressure, it all was building up your love for the characters. I would have to say that Ninja Storm is one of my all time favorites.

The Sentai vs. American footage is extremely noticeable. The American footage is very bright and clear but the Sentai footage is much more fuzzy and much darker.

Anybody ever notice that during the first part of the megazord fight in episode 2 that the MMPR theme was rehashed and put in there for a bit? lol

In the episode "Tounge and Cheek" Marah and Kapri make a comment about the planet Triforia. Isnt that where the mercury ranger in PROO is from?

The Scroll of Destiny have the chosen ones there but dont show the way of the Final Battle ends, the other part of the Scroll of Destiny is Lothor have because when "The Journey of the Samurai" arc Lothor have the Scroll with him and knoiw aboyt the Abyss of Evil and the Powers of the Samurai Amulet.
