Apparently Lavender Ranger was planning to do a Shinkenger adaptation fanfilm. But then Saban bought PR and announced their own adaptation. So, he's switching to Dairanger, because it has the same colour scheme and he's already bought the team jackets!

Do you think it's going to get off the floor or be another project that never goes anywhere?

One episode wonder I reckon. Most of the Dairanger mecha fights were already used in MMPR.

But you actualy think it'll get that far? we've all heard of these kinds of plans...they usualy fall under before any filming takes place...and if they don't (youtube) videos are usualy pretty bad lol

Of course it will be bad lol
Lavender has been doing that blog for a long time, so he is dedicated, it is possible to get maybe one or two episodes out

We should just get a 100 people together and dub an entire super sentai. Ideally one with a small episode count.

That means JAKQ. It has the least episodes out of all of them.

Not to toot my own horn or anything.

And as to this adaption... Until you see an actual episode out, it doesn't mean a thing. Even a trailer. I've seen many a fan put together "trailers" and nothing ever comes of them. I don't think most fans realize what it takes to make an actual fan film and have it not totally suck.

Organize it. Make it happen. Edit it all together. Get it released.

ok I don't wish to be rude, but That was pretty good, and awful at the same time lol..I imagine you cranked this out one afternoon..the voice over acting was subpar-to a joke ..you can hear the laughter in the voices as they say there lines...knowing that these people arn't actors though..they did pretty well for the "morphed" scenes, and the foley work left much to be desired...a robot smacking in to a metal tower is bound to make a noise lol
now not knowing how you're going to take this "constructive" criticism..i'm not sure if i should post this..but If you're like any other artist you'll appreciate the thought
so as I said, it was good and bad, i'd give it a 6/10
are you planning on making more?

I will now address everything you said in a very constructive way.
It's a fan film made on a zero budget. It has to be good and awful in a totally intentional way. This did not take one afternoon. The scenes with my actors were shot in two days, about two hours each day. ADR took place a few weeks afterword. The preliminary editing took a bit of time each day for about two months. The script is supposed to be cheesey, it's supposed to be tongue in cheek, which is why you hear the "laughter" in their voices.
And perhaps you didn't listen hard enough, but when the foot solider was thrown into the tower, their was a sound effect.
I freely admit Episode 1 is no master piece. The meta reference is forced as all hell. The sound could have used about another five passes. I would recommend checking out Episode 1.5 and Episode 2 once it's released later this summer.
I do appreciate criticism (since what I usually get is, GREAT, or, THAT WAS AWFUL) but I take great umbridge at you saying I churned this out in one afternoon. I've seen horrfic "fan films" on youtube that were obviously churned out in one afternoon. My crew deserve better then people thinking it took one afternoon to put this together.
I actually, no joke, invite you to try and complete a fan film in one afternoon. Seriously.

No rage here sir. Like I've said, it's no masterpiece. Not at all. I do agree with most of your points. It's cheesey as all hell. That was the point. But in terms of script writing, casting, shooting, editing, ADR, post, and actual release, saying it took one afternoon is what I took the most "offense" to.
As to your "watching and weren't apart of it" idea, I will say that I would more than likely think, "Wow, this looks like someone actually put effort into it."

Working on Episode 2 at the moment (Episode 1.5 can be found on youtube.) We have plans to make at least three more episodes after episode 2. Most of the principal stuff has been shot for Episode 2 while we still have about half of the ADR to do and some pick up shots as well to complete.

Well i look forward to seeing it, and this time i'll know it wasn't done in one afternoon ;)
on a serious note,..have you thought about changing from cellphones to actual props?
Rider Jetfire

Ah, I am glad we have resolved this. It really was just that one point that was the sore spot for me.
Their is a logical reason worked out for why they use cellphones. I'll reveal it at one point if it doesn't make itself into a script.

I enjoyed this 30 times more than RPM. I liked that it was tongue in cheek and somewhat satirical. I would have made "I Will Win" a little louder during the fight sequence. But all in all, I enjoyed it. Not your fault, but the Rescue Force outfits are garbage.
