Personality: Rachael has a sweet, bubbly disposition. She is generally happy and is totally easygoing. Perhaps her downfall is that she is an emotional person and has a hard time separating herself emotionally from people and situations. She is also very goal oriented when she wants to be. She likes getting things done, and has always been successful at school because of such. She just doesn't always have a plan for doing it. She loves doing things without necessarily having a plan. She believes that spontiety is the spice of life. Becoming a Ranger is the most exciting thing in her life and she thrives on the action, despite how much of an emotional toll it takes on her.

History:
Born from a family of public servants, a mother working as a paramedic and a father working as a police officer, Zack was used to the idea of working for the good of society. As a child, he grew to get to know Mariner Bay Police Department and its officers. He considered them all an extended family. At at an early age, his father had him taking up karate for self-defense and discipline. By the time he hit the age of 14, he had become a leader within the dojo and had gotten his black belt. It was through his Munchkin classes that his natural leadership ability and charisma started to really show.

Growing up, Zack idolized the Lightspeed Rangers back in Mariner Bay. Watching their heroics as public defenders of the city made Zack want to become a hero. Not that the appeal of being a local celebrity never occurred to him because it did, but he wanted to help people and defend the weak. He knew it was a noble career path. He was determined that one day he would follow in his parents' footsteps and be a public servant, but not just any public servant...A Power Ranger.

After graduating from high school, Zack decided to go and get a business degree to be able to open his own dojo. He continued to teach his young students whenever time permitted and live a seemingly ordinary life, not knowing what the future had in store for him. Shortly before his junior year at college, he was recruited by Ms. Fairweather to join her new Ranger team. Zack of course was surprised but he was finally getting to live his dream.

Personality:
Charisma - Something Zack Winters obviously possesses. His charm and unassuming presence made everyone around him, child and adult alike, feel comfortable. He wasn't the bossy type of leader and was used to leading by example.
Playful - Zack loves to have a good time and is still a kid at heart. That also translates to his interactions with the opposite gender. He is a flirt but knows when to quit.
Focused - He is so disciplined and focused on finishing a task that he sometimes has a bit of tunnel vision when it comes to getting the job done.
Stubborn - One of Zack's issues is that he isn't always the most open-minded as far as what he thinks. He tends to stick his ground a lot, especially in his peer group.
Selfish - Because he is used to being a leader, he sometimes thinks that his way is the only way.

Personality:
Shy and quiet, Mikey Stewart is your average, unassuming teen. Having a combination of his father's brilliant mind and his mother's dreamer personality, he's a rather strange mix. He only skipped a couple of grades as opposed to his father, who skipped quite a few, so he's not really all that socially out of place, and yet, without his closest friends, he's as odd and awkward as they come. He's an artist and loves to draw, especially superheroes. He's also a great storyteller. He's particularly good at math and chemistry as well as art but chooses to pursue the arts more so than his academics. While his academics come naturally to him, he doesn't necessarily have to try to get good grades. His art is where his heart is. Socially, he uses his closest friends as a clutch and when he's forced to hang out with a new group of kids after becoming a Ranger, he finds himself feeling a little lost.

History:
Mikey comes from a family of heroes. His mother was the White Dino Ranger and his father served as the Blue Turbo Ranger, the Blue Lightspeed Ranger and the Triassic Dino Ranger. Three years after their tenure as Dino Rangers, his parents decided to get married and move to Mariner Bay. Growing up, he had his best friends, Taylor Mitchell and the Grayson twins, Carrie and Danny. He was a pretty well adjusted kid with a high level of intelligence but also a great creative talent. He was enrolled in art classes at an early age and his mother enjoyed his creative works, putting them up on the fridge.

He didn't wanna leave Mariner Bay that summer but when his father told him the reason, he was shocked. His parents, Power Rangers? Completely insane! But he had no choice in the matter. They moved into the house his parents had put up for rent and soon, Mikey was enrolled at Angel Grove High. Results of his placement tests were rather peculiar, leaving him at a senior level while being sophomore age. Not only was he going to be alone without his circle of friends, but he was going to be a freak in his classes, just like his dad. He was going to have problems...big problems.

History:
Julianne Camille Littleton was born 5 minutes after her twin brother, Jason Thomas. They grew up as happy little children with a very idyllic upbringing. She was a total Daddy's Girl and was really close to her father as well as her mother. She grew up a performer, taking all sorts of lessons, including dance and music as well as acting.

After when their father died of cancer when the twins were 10, their mother ended up remarrying someone when they were 12. He was an abusive man and did unspeakable things to Julianne as she headed into her teen years so she took his gun and shot him. The bright bubbly young child turned into a dark, sullen teenage girl. She took off to live at a favorite aunt's until she turned 18.

Under the guise of going away to college, she left her aunt's and she managed to get away with her activities of conning people for money by seducing them, being careful not to leave a paper trail. She would often seduce older wealthy men by picking them up at a bar, especially in the last couple of years since she turned 21. But usually, she would simply pick them up at restaurants or hotel lounges. Being a master of disguise, she always had different looks and different personalities.

Personality:
Unpredictable. If you had to choose one word for Ava's personality, it would be unpredictable. One minute she's doing crazy stunts on her rollerblades, and the next, she's haulin' @$$ through an obstacle course. The strange thing is, for someone who is wild and unpredictable as far as personality goes, she is a stickler for routines. She has a discipline about her that comes from all her training and she hates disruptions in routine. One can describe her as fearless and she loves to push her limits. However, recent events have caused her to face her own mortality and the fearlessness wavers at times. Whenever in a position of vulnerability, she tends to internalize things and shut most people out. It helps with her friendship with Owen - they both knew when not to push or ask questions, although eventually she does share with Owen because she feels he's the only one she can trust. She tends to be snappish at times, quick to be annoyed.

History:
Ava Michelle Winchester was born into a middle class family in the middle of the residential area of Nightingdale. All she knew was a peaceful existance in a nice quiet corner of suburbia. Her father was a police officer in the Nightingdale Police Force and her mother a kindergarten teacher. She was an only child who was doted on by her mother and she was definitely Daddy's little girl. She wasn't academically gifted, she was rather average in that regard, but she was an active child, going from dance to t-ball to soccer before finally settling on karate as her main activity at the age of 6 and by the age of 12, she attained her black belt.

It was in her teen years that things started to go downhill. When she was 13, her mother was diagnosed with a serious heart condition. This changed Ava in that she became fearless. She took a favorite hobby, rollerblading and turned into something more dangerous, more daring. She did everything from street racing to aggressive inline rollerblading. She used the adrenaline rush to cope with the possibility of losing her mother. The worse her mother's condition became, the more reckless she became. Finally, about a year after her diagnosis, Ava's mother finally succumbed to her illness, leaving Ava and her father extremely devastated.

During her senior year of high school, Ava decided to forgo further education and become a police officer like her father. She looked up to him as child and she didn't really care about the dangers of the job. She was finally equipped with a sense of direction and she was ready to just go. She thrived, performing under pressure at The Police Academy. She excelled in the physical aspects of training, which compensated for her weaker mental training.

She was only a few days short of the graduation ceremony from The Police Academy and joining the ranks of the Nightingdale Police Force, working alongside her father, when news of the Venjix virus hit the city of Nightingdale. All Police Officers, including her father, who was the Police Commissioner, was called to active duty. The mission: To get the entire city evacuated and protect the civilians against the on-going attacks. The officers were in charge of the heavy machinery while the cadets took care of the foot soldiers. During that first mission, she met Owen Astaire, who had decided to help. After the whole city was evacuated, she jumped into a large transport vehicle, taking her new friend along with her.

Once the transport vehicle had gotten to the domed city of Corinth, Ava checked the half a dozen other trucks that came behind the one she rode with Owen. No sign of her father. Colonel Truman had seen her with Owen and they were both taken to see a young Dr. K, and were both offered Ranger Powers. Following Owen's lead, she agreed but only if the Colonel would use his resources to help her find her father. It remains to be seen if promises will be kept. Still, she serves faithfully with her new friend, who is starting to offset her reckless behavior just a bit.

Jenni Ashford is a studious, quiet young lady who grew up with her face buried in the books. She isn't really a social butterfly, preferring to keep to herself and have a few close friends as opposed to trying to go with the crowd. She tends to have a sad, angsty kind of vibe, considering the way twists and turns her life has taken.

History:
Jennifer Marie Ashford was born in Charterville on July 21st and was raised there. She was friends with Drew and Jo McCormick as well as Roland Williams until a couple of years before their Beetleborg days. When she was about 9 or 10, her parents divorced and she was sent away to live with her mother in Reefside, completely missing out on a whole chapter of the two friends she cared about the most.

She lived a relatively quiet existence in Reefside. During Trent's whole stint as a Power Ranger, she was sophomore at Reefside High and so she knew who Trent Mercer was to a certain extent, although they never became friends or anything, she had interacted with him during her visits to Hayley's Cybercafe.

Being a studious girl, she got a scholarship to the University of Reefside to study pre-law. There she reunited with her friend Jo and has yet to hear from Drew.

Weaknesses/Flaws: Due to the fact that he was homeschooled during the course of his entire childhood, he has a bit of a social awkwardness about him. He sometimes feels a little uncomfortable in social settings and sometimes suffers 'foot-in-the-mouth disease' when he says the wrong thing at the wrong time. He also needs to learn that his way is not the only way.
Personality: Ryan's a bit of a hot head sometimes, who gets frustrated easily when people don't get him. He's a total sensitive sweetheart deep down and just wants people to really get to know him. He's loyal and a great friend when given the chance. He's also very strong willed
History: Jasper Ryan Mackenzie, who goes by his middle name, was born the oldest of four kids. He had three sisters: Tara, who was 13, Evangeline, who was 11, and Hannah, who was 7. Growing up, he enjoyed learning at his own pace due to his homeschooling. He developed an interest for history and martial arts of various kinds. He trained in American style karate for most of his childhood, starting at age 5. His parents had decided to homeschool their children until the age of 14, then allow them to decide if they wanted to try going to school or finish their education while being homeschooled. Being the first one out of the gate, Ryan decided to go ahead and give Angel Grove High a shot. He found himself excelling at all the social sciences and English. He decided to tutor freshmen students and teach American style karate at the Youth Center to earn extra money.

Personality: Jules once had a sweet, bubbly disposition. She was happy and easygoing. She went with the flow, but also had discipline in her life as a martial artist. She wasn't the best at planning but she got things done. Having spent the better part of two years with Lightning Sting when she reached a long time goal of becoming a Power Ranger like her cousin Carter, she had developed an edge to her personality. She gained a mental and emotional toughness that was quickly shattered when she got personal with Joey Brooks, in more ways than one. Having spent a lot of time together since their days with Lightning Sting, she still struggles to keep her other half in check and proving that she's tough, but most times, her old personality was able to shine through in bursts. However, there is a very dark and vengeful part of her that emerged after being her kidnapping, and while she has gotten professional help for all that, there is a part of her that's out for blood. A part of her not even Joey knows about.

History: All her life, she had always looked up to her older cousin Carter. He was bigger, stronger and better than her at everything. He was the reason she trained in martial arts - to have something to be better than him at. When Carter became a Power Ranger, she was determined to become one someday. Several years after Carter's tenure as a Ranger, Jules was chosen to become a part of the Lightning Sting team due to her exceptional fighting skills at the age of 18, making her the youngest member of the team. Over her two years of service, she had fought alongside the best team. However, after her kidnapping and subsequent hospitalization forced an early retirement from the team, the blonde longed for another chance at Ranger duties. She missed the Power. Yeah, sure, she managed to settle down with Joey after their turbulent on the job romance started becoming more like a normal dating relationship, but she would never tell him how much she wanted a second chance to truly prove herself as a Ranger.
