But still, this is still a discussion thread, even though we post news, rumours, pictures, and all that stuff here, even if it's a week before the season starts and during the season. It doesn't need to be restricted to just episode discussions and such.

Seems like the episode is called Medal, Underwear and the Mysterious Arm. I thought it was "Aah~, my tomorrow!" because Sanshiki wrote it as the title of the OOO episode section.

Two men working as security guards were working at an art museum and suddenly heard loud voices screaming, "These are ours! This and that too!"
A couple of robbers sneaked in and drugged they new employee, Eiji Hino.
The guards starts to move the art work to another location, while carrying a large coffin they hear a mysterious voice and medals starts to fall out.

At the Kosei Foundation's underground parking lot, the Bike group members gather for some reason. They put medals inside these vending machines and turn them into bikes to march around town. Right in front of their eyes, they see the revived Greeds saying, "...Destroy".

Judging by the episode title, I guess all episodes will have three titles, like Double's two titles.

So when we break the title of Episode 1 down (the title being "Medal, Underwear, and the Mysterious Arm" ["メダルとパンツと謎の腕" in Japanese], we get this:

Possible second rider rumour from Toku Insider

MOVIE WARS 2011:

-Kamen Rider Baasu appears. He uses an installation henshin system. Baasu's eyes are not circular, but U shaped, (colored black) and he looks very original, something unlike any other hero before. The lower half of his "U" eyes glow red, and he almost resembles Hakaider, complete with a capsuluar head.

Some information that I may have missed:

In order for Greed's to achieve a full body, they need 9 Core Medals. At start, non of them are complete. Ankh only has an arm and possesses a dying policeman. Yummy collect Medals from human lust/desire. Different tribes collect medals in different methods. The first Yummy is Mantis (Kamakiri). It seems like there will be scenes from the Greed fights in the opening. All the weapons, bikes and stuff OOO uses is from Kosei Kogami. Kosei Kogami also has control over many other thing, even OOO's combos.

SaGōriZō (Heavy animal form)
SaUTa (Water form)
TaJaDoru.
OOO has a dinosaur form, using a Triceratops medal (Horn, not angle as alternate-zer0 previously wrote)

It seems like within the tribes, there are 3 different kinds. Together they have to gather 9 medals, 3 from each sub-tribe, that's what Yobuko believes. Ankh is aiming to find all those medals. Gameru seems to be obeying Mezuru's orders.

Greed's are able to create Yummy's through Cell Medals. (Silver Cell Medals are the power sources of weapons used by OOO)
There are 2 stages of a Yummy.
1. Yummy(ヤミー): Greed's create these Yummies by throwing a Medal into the back of a human beings head. A hole is then created, when a Cell Medal is put inside a Yummy will be created.
2. OOYummy(〇〇ヤミー): When a Yummy absorbs human desire they evolve into this stage.

Episode 1 (From multiple magazines)
Eiji Hino transforms into Kamen Rider OOO to fight desire-eating monsters. One day, Eiji suddenly finds a mysterious medal and encounters a monster-like arm. The medal Eiji found is called "O Medal". These O Medal are divided into 2 groups, Core Medals and Cell Medals. This is the source of power for both Kamen Rider OOO and the monsters, Greed. Obtaining more medals makes the user stronger!
A group of thieves broke into an art museum. While taking the medals an accident occurs, which causes monsters to awake from a slumber and a group of mysterious bikers shows up and a battle commences. Eiji, who was drugged, found a medal in his chest pocket which dragged him into this incident. Eiji loses his job and clean underpants, before him appears a mysterious arm saying "That's my Core Medal." Eiji is scared of this talking arm and tries to flee, only to find a mantis looking monster.

Episode 2 (Bros and TV Life, unfortunately it's not much)
In the end, Eiji was dragged into this fight for medals. Ankh needed a body and possessed a dying policeman. The policeman's sister, Hina is worried about her brother.

Just finished watching the first episode, even though I didn't understand most of it. Plus the gundam stream the thing was freezing up some so I could only watch most of the episode. But I still enjoyed it.

First of all, the opening. I love it! The opening sequence is awesome as well. The song itself, as I thought it would be, was cool as well. Can't wait for the full version. A minor nitpick I have with it is that Eiji says Henshin during the opening, and I usually don't like it when characters talk in the opening, meaning we hear them. But, at least it was Henshin and it was only minor but otherwise, it's cool.

First off, Eiji seems pretty cool. As I said, he has awesome boxers. Not too much to say about the others right now, though Ankh was weird, with that floating arm. Plus, the Happy Birthday thing with Kogami was kinda weird too.

Finally, the Henshin sequence. Just like Double's, this wasn't what I was expecting. Granted, I knew about the sound effect, but the actual Henshin wasn't what I expected. A bunch of medals just circled around him along with the belt voice (Did you know it's voiced by Akira Kushida?), transforming him. Plus, OOO just beat the medals out of the Yummy (Literally).

I enjoyed the episode, despite the problems. I'm sure this series will be pretty decent.

A while back, when pics were first leaking of Ozu, we got a picture of what we thought was the Lion-Head. Looking back, it is in fact, the Cobra head. I'll repost that as soon as I can, unless someone else beats me to it.

Polar Bear, Walrus, Cow, Deer, Butterfly, Bee, Centipede, Scorpion, Kangaroo, Hermit Crab, Crab, Lobster, Penguin, Ant, Gazelle, Panda

Seems like it's more effective to use the same type of medals against the same type of monsters! Like in the first episode OOO used the Kamakiri arms and Batta legs' bicycle kick against the Kamakiri Yummy. And then in the scans he was shown to be using the Tora arms and Cheetah legs against the fat cat. :D

Someone compiled all of the various forms together based on the leaked sounds...and we're ending up with a lot of forms. Don't expect to see all of these for real in the show.


339 Combos. Feels like I've missed something. ー indicates a longer sound. That's why there is an "ā" in the Cheetah forms to distinguish it from the Octopus forms (Ta without the "ā") The combo names are just guesses from the sounds that have played by the O Scanner. So they are not official. It's all in Japanese kana, Japanese romaji and English. It's a .xls files with all the combos so far.

Chris in the past has said several times Disney and saban also Had bought the sub rights to sentai. The idea being any form of of sentai shown here, kids who dont know sentai would asume it being the same as power rangers. To keep other companies from subing the series and make money off the "power rangers name" Saban bought their subbing rights. It's the same reason why saban bought all the pre-zyu adaption rights before.

Aways: Bleed coins/tokens. Hehehe I guess we know how ninjor really forged the power coins.

Watched the subbed episode last night...a pretty good start

Watched it today (in HD!) and it was better than I suspected, I stayed away from all spoilers so I wouldn't ruin the show for myself

- The opening was sweet, very high energy, I like it. I wasn't a fan of the hardcore rocker, but that girl that was singing was very talented

- I'm assuming Hina is this years Rider girl, she's decent looking I wouldn't compare her to Natsumi. It looks like she will be more comedic like Akiko

- Eiji Hino is a likeable guy, but i'm interested to see if he has the charisma and charm that other past Riders have

- Kousei Kougami is your typical weird-a$$ japanese bad guy...singing happy birthday

- The medals is not my favourite thing, but it might grow on me

- The core form with the Hawk, Tiger and Grasshopper was hella ugly, the hawk helmet is the ugliest thing

Overall, I would say it was a solid start

The Greeed feed on human desires. Which is a important in creating Cell Medals. All we've seen is collateral damage. The four only retaliated at being attacked. Ankh is more of a dick. Greeed don't care about humans but that doesn't mean they have malice for them. Indeed they may need humans to sustain themselves. So killing them is counter productive.

The Kogami Foundation seems to be profiting from the battles by stealing the Cell Medals. For what purpose we are not sure yet. We suspect it has a connection to Foundation X. Also it seems the foundation pretty much owns this city where Eiji is. Not to mention they also have cake...lots of it. What is with this world's villains sweet tooth?

Then again it's too early for us to know, so let's keep on watching, and we'll probably know as soon as the show hits the median milestone.

You're right, when Double was announced I said I liked the suit design. Can't say the same this year.

As for the villains, like Double, the big bad won't be the villains we'll have for most of the season I reckon... but will instead be some representative of Foundation X.

W only had 7 Memories he could use

OOO already has 4 in the first episode and we have seen pictures with many, many more. This whole Medal thing is a huge toy company decision and is (IMO) getting out of hand now

So, what ooo looks like to me is a combination of Hibiki and Kuuga...though the bad guys remind me of Blade's Undead...though some of their appearances are like the Grongi...I wonder if that is on purpose?

Eiji...so far is no Godai Yuusuke...his heart is in the right place...but something still seems like something is missing. What I do like is that they made his character an adventurer/wanderer...which helps free up his time...though it makes me wonder how he lives day to day...since he is basically a vagabond at this point in time..which come to think of it Faiz started out like that too...hmm

Ankh...I am not sure he will turn out to be the supreme badguy later on...I just think he is just particularly indifferent to the whole process...though I do hope he is more than just an arm through the series. On a side note, the male actor playing him looks way cooler here than he did when he was in Sazer X...

I will reserve my judgment on the other characters as they have more appearances...because that would be an unfair assessment.

I both like and dislike the op theme...I could do without the rap part...but that is me...I do not like rap...which is weird because I like spoken lyric and a capella. I do like the rest of the song...maybe because it has a pop sound to it...I don't know...

I like the henshin...it seems intuitive...should prove to be an interesting series. I am sure the design of the suit will grow on me...

I have to say, I like OOO's Rider Kick. The way his legs changed to that of an actual grasshopper was really amazing and how those three colored rings appeared as OOO went through them reminded me of Decade's Dimension Kick when he went through those cards. I wonder what his final ultimate form's Rider Kick is going to be like?

He did use the Prism Bicker most of the time, so that was his primary finisher. I reckon OOO will likewise use his weapon more often than his kick, especially once he gets his power up.

Taro Yamamoto, next to Koji, is Koji's partner.
Kamen Rider W & OOO appearing together. Koji Kikkawa, the actor of the bride's father.

The movie "Kamen Rider OOO & W feat. Skull: Movie Core War" was announced the 26th September in a metropolitan area. Koji Kikkawa, Renn Kiriyama, Masaki Suda along with 11 other people from the cast as well as the director, Ryuta Tasaki. The actor of Kamen Rider OOO's Eiji Hino, Watanbe said "It's like a dream to co-star with them, it's definitely something worth to watch."

This film continues the previous story of Kamen Rider Skull. Koji Kikkawa said "The director told me, you are still in your prime 40's, you should be able to do this. So I accepted the role with my whole heart. "

The movie will be played out 10 years before episode 1 of the series, Kamen Rider W, as well as in the present time of Kamen Rider OOO. In this movie, Koji will appear alongside with his parter, Taro Yamamoto. (See picture, the guy next to Koji is his partner) Taro said "I've been in the acting business for 19 years now, it's finally time for me to join the good looking Riders. Before shooting, I was actually offered a role in a Hollywood movie. I refused the offer and decided to star in this one instead."
When Taro was told that he was playing the partner, he said "We could make a spin off out of this."

In the film the brides and grooms, Minehiro Kinomoto (Accel), Hikaru Yamamoto (Akiko), Watanabe (Eiji) and Riho Takada (Hina) will be appearing in tuxedos and dresses.
It's the first time Takada has worn a wedding dress, while smiling she said "I am really happy, I am always learning something new. It's really fun!"
Hikaru on the other hand, said "I'll finally get married! It's only in the middle of the movie though."
Koji Kikkawa who plays Hikaru's father said "I don't even have a wife in real life, how am I supposed to be a father? Can someone teach me?"

Other actors such as, Ryosuke Miura and Kengo Ookuchi, appeared as well.

Other than being used as a "currency" if you're Kousei Kogami and stuff, Cell Medals, as I see it, pretty much serve as the "bodily shells" of the Greeed that they can shed.

I think of the Cell Medals as being the products of cell division (otherwise known as mitosis), originating from the Core Medals--the Core Medals are the parent cells while the Cell Medals are the daughter cells.

Both it and the reptile form are probably part of the 2nd quarter for OOO, meaning their release won't be until at least November, but probably more like December/January.

Notice how the middle section of the emble is lighter in tone than the rest? I'm thinking these are not the true whole forms. Instead they might have him power-up state when all dark or light medals are present.

It was a rather clever way of getting Anku to agree to his terms. But then again, after creating that sort of system, it was doubtful that the foundation wouldn't have some sort of plan.

Maki Ohguro is still under medical treatment, but says that she's fine. The PV will be Maki "playing live" on a stage, OOO fighting Greeeds and ends with OOO, Greeeds and Maki standing together. She feels honored to be able to appear together with OOO and the Greeeds, and it's something she'll treasure. DVD will cost Y1890 while a regular CD costs Y1260. Release date is November 17.

Apparently to answer Digifiend's question regarding the function of the Tiger Candroid, it's actually an attachment to the Ride Vendor. Combine the Candroid with the bike and you get the Tride Vendor.

The second Rider's transformation gun. Includes 3 O Medals that are put inside to transform. By putting in various medals you can change forms and even activate a special attack. The Cell Medals to activate special attacks are sold separately.

The rumored 3 Core Medals for Rider #2 are Kabuto, Hachi (Bee) and Donbo (Dragonfly)

Episode 5 was awesome, my favourite part was the bike fight. The Heisei Era never focused as much on bikes as the Showa did, hopefully OOO will change that because I love seeing the bikes

As said before, Kamen Rider can be a downer. I gave up on 555 about 12 episodes in, but doesn't it end with Takumi's apparent death? Decade technically ended with Tsukasa being shot in the face (depending on which ending you watch). Ryuki ended with half the cast dying and forgetting their bonds (sad, depending on your point of view). It doesn't need to make sure everything is light hearted at the end, unlike Power Rangers.
