It's the penultimate episode. And a little something different, since this episode is about Kim having bad luck, rate this episode based on the Overdrive Rangers' good luck charms.
Oh, and yeah, do not ask about full episodes in this thread. They are posted in the Multimedia Downloads. (http://www.rangercrew.com/forum/showthread.php?13425-MMPRv2-Full-Episodes)

This episode as pretty cool to see.
The effects are really good, when the rangers made there roll call as cool, someone notace when Kimberly call is Dinozord we dont see any banner and even when Titanus as call and they form the Ultrazord no banner appear that as cool.

That's alright, because the other episode used the Marking-Pen typeface'd version, right in the middle of the latest-version ones for everyone else.

The rollcall effects were brilliant but other than that, I gotta give this one a pretty low rating. It was just boring and the Kim kidnap scene made no sense, particularly with Tommy getting "injured." Wind does not injure people and it looked more like Tommy was being lulled to sleep.

To be fair, that was a problem in the original 1993 version.

Tommy was worthless as the original Green Ranger. He might have gained some points when he came back, but this first run? WORTHLESS.
Jason: "We're getting our butts kicked! Where's Tommy?"
Zordon: "I cannot contact him, Power Rangers."
Jason: "..."
Why Zordon never just abduct-teleported Tommy when he really needed him is anyone's guess.

What always got me was that in some episodes (can't remember if it happened in this one) but Zordon would tell Alpha to teleport a ranger to the Command Center, and Alpha said he couldn't locate them because they didn't have their communicator. What kind of excuse is that? Was it pure dumb luck that Alpha found a random group of five teenagers with attitude, who, by the way, didn't originally have communicators?

Couldn't contact them more like it.

I think it is a lot more effort when they have to teleport them w/o the communicators. I have feeling that they were watching teenagers from time to time to get a feel if they need help.

This episode is nostalgic for me. I had only this episode and the Yolks on You on video when I was little, so the episodes got watched a lot.
I really liked this ep, but it looks so bad now with the footage changes, but I'm not complaining, its still fun. It was strange to see it raining in Angle Grove, they never really show rain too much, so it was kind of fun.

Hell, the only time I really remember rain being shown is the Wild Force finale.

This was probably part of the benefit of starting to film their own ranger footage for seasons 2 and 3. So they no longer had to come up with excuses for why a certain ranger couldn't show up to fight a certain monster. Too bad they didn't start filming their own stuff even sooner, because it puts a huge limit on storytelling possibilities.
Gave the episode a 5. I'm sure for a lot of people on here, Kimberly was their first television crush, so any Kimberly-centric episode is okay in my book.
It was also interesting to see an episode that started off in a different location. The Rangers were only ever shown at school, the juice bar, or Billy's garage.
Zordon's advice: "Use your zords. When you defeat the fan man, Kimberly will be free". Yeah, real helpful there. Just suggest the same thing they always do, then restate what they already know.
We got to see the Ranger's bikes in the background too. As a kid I always wanted to see more of the bikes in action.
