Since PR seems to do best when completly seperate from the Sentai season (RPM and In Space) then it stands to reason that the Goseiger adaptation should be totally different than the sentai's angel theme so I thought that a great idea would be a Tron like show where the powers are derived from a world inside the computers that the rangers can go to and come to our world from easily and the monsters are viruses trying to take over the real world from the digital one, also if they went with this then the Blue, Green, Black and Yellow rangers could be from the computers and the Red and Pink could be new recruits from Earth so that the Red would be a rookie since that seems to be something the writers like doing and the Goesi Knight could be an antivirus program that someone on our side creates to help combat the viruses.
what do you think?

I think this was an incredibly popular animated show about 10-12 years ago that aired with Power Rangers on FOX Kids. Your concept is just waaaaaaaaaaaaay too similar to Digimon.

Yeah, that sounds like you took Digimon, Power Rangers, and VR Troopers and tossed them in the blender.

There was a Live action show like that adapted from another toku series. I've never seen it but here it is:

How about a Teenagers with Attitude team and focus on the animal spirits that their zords have? Like snake, etc? No need for this Tron business.

I agree with what Shielded117 said. The concept sounds almost exactly like Digimon.
And the entire Super Human Samurai thing? Please...I think we should just stick with our five teenagers with attitude. Japan can go ahead and keep creating, but hopefully, they never stop their Super Sentai series, so we never stop our Power Rangers.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N34MmqmxqD0It was adapted from Gridman... the whole computer virus plot came straight from the source material. So if anything, Digimon (specifically Adventure 02) copied Gridman.

Ah! Okay, good point about the color scheme. And I know the Angel thing won't fly and that's why I was saying they should either focus on the animal spirits or just be Power Rangers that happen to have these zords that have animal spirits. Like MMPR Season 2. They could either be teenagers with attitude or be an elite group like SPD or something.

Have the Samurai Rangers lose their Powers, only to have to seek out a new source, ala Ninjetti Powers, because ya know Samurai and Ninjas mix together so well...at least according to Ninja Storm...also bring back Ninjor!!!!! Lol, I jest...well not really...but kinda...

Precisely, I mean if the powers that be (Zordon and his ilk) can call the MMPR Zords, DinoZords (when only like 2 or 3 counting Titatus of the 6 or 7 once again with Titanus are actually dinosaurs) then by all means we can turn a show about angels into a show about Samurai turned Ninja...by the power of Zordon...

This explains why Power Ranger Samurai first wear ninja mask before they wear the samurai helmet. Best of both worlds! :D

Hi guys:
Well, I believe that PR2012 would continue on with PRS (as it was originally confirmed that PRS would last two years), but with the Goseiger adaptation. I know that Saban could do this. I believe that he would become more original about PRS (season 2). As far as the old rumor about splitting up PRS into half-seasons of 20 & 20 between next year 2011 and 2012, but I think that would be a waste of time for one PR season being covered over 2 years. Now, that PRS for next year 2011 is going to have 43 episodes, that might prove more along the way that we would have 43 episodes for the year 2011. There could be more episodes to continue on with PRS into the year 2012. I know that we'll just have to wait and see what happens with PRS. But, as for what I'm saying here, this is what I believe what can happen. You don't have to agree with me on anything I've said, but I'm just stating it now. Thanks.
Thanks for reading and bye.

Continuing with the PRS team but using Goseiger seems plausible. It could be an upgrade or something.

Well make PRS in two years it as save mejor from Saban to make awesome show because with this 2 years Saban can make the things really good and make the PRS devided in 2 years make Saban wants to make really awesome work because this 2 years will be really interesthing for POWER RANGERS because with 43 episodes divided in 2 years its too for they see the Ratings from the 2 years and they decide if Continue but this years will really interesthing for the Show but we know if PRS works really well The Gosei will be adapted i think Saban know what they are doing because for shore if PRS have sucess for shore Gosei adaptation will be really awesome because with the PR are now in Saban hands.
All Depends much of the Ratings of POWER RANGERS SAMURAI...

The problem with that is that Shinken Red is much taller than Gosei Red, so their suit actors have height differences. If Jayden (as Samurai Red) continues to be the Red Leader in Saban's adaptation of Goseiger, the footage of the suit actors will look rather out-of-place compared to previous season.

No it won't. Green Racer and Mega Black were completely different heights. Good lord, Carlos VISIBLY SHRINKS whenever he morphs. To the point that they did a US visual effect once when he demorphed to show his suited form is a different size than his unmorphed.

No different to Justin's growth upon morph - same with White Ranger Tommy, who is taller in US footage than in Dairanger footage. And Zack having all five fingers when morphed, when one is missing when he's unmorphed.

Not likely, whether people want to admit it or not, kid's television is not to a point where they are willing to take themes such as angels, messiahs and the like and present them to kids. Parental groups would be up in arms.

Exactly. They'll emphasise the animals and cards instead. Angels won't be mentioned, and Buredoran will have a different origin. Just because Digimon had angels doesn't mean PR can. Remember, it's 12 years later (and the censors are stricter now), and Digimon was a cartoon, and at no time did Angemon ever claim to be a Messiah!

Neither did Alata, the angle theme in Gosienger is VERY subdued compared to Angemon

You can show angels, but anything more than just the imagery is where problems arise. Angemon looked like an angel (more-or-less) but never actually claimed to be angelic in nature. He did not derive from anything that could remotely be linked back to a religious belief, I've never watched Goseiger, but I've heard that there is mention of a messiah or a messianic figure, that would be no means fly in a kid's market.

However Power Rangers is just an adaption of sentai, so they can probably cut some corners.

Years ago they could have kept the Angel theme but not now in our Politically Correct society. You would have been crying saying Saban is trying to force Religion on them or some other stupid nonsense.

Political correctness was conceived as a buzzword during the period between the GHWB and Clinton presidencies. PR has never existed in a time without it.

Well, this only happens in Epic 45, when Bladerun reveals yourself as being the "savior" (which can be take as "messiah"). The rest, they just are "angels" when they use the roll call and the phrase for the final attack.
So, if PR used the angel, the production staff just need to get rid of footage for 5 episodes.
But, to be honest, i see the Goseiger adaptation being something close to MMPR, specially given the some of small similiraties between both.

Well i think with they can done it use the Footage or maybe created there own finale in the case of Goseiger but all will depend of Saban and Tzachor want to do well they dont ger rid of footage or maybe can use that footage for some scenes in the final.

They oughta just replace Tzachor...then we have a chance to be rid of Sentai adaptations in general...
Turn Goseiger into MMPR Mach 2, the color scheme matches...well at least the primaries...so take that and give us something new...

Maybe they can go back to Angel Grove, and be nicknamed The Gosei(replaced with a Saban type name) Angels for being guardians of the city. Be a great way to bridge the series with starting it where the whole franchise started,I wish they'd then have the base in the old command cente location...or have the gosei sky base looking over Angel Grove or something.

Angel Grove has become a huge tourist attraction, being the home of the first team(s) of Power Rangers, there loving the benefits that come with that place in the world's history, and they're pretty secure that the Rangers of the past have made it where there is no chance that they'll ever be attacked again, because that would just be INCONCEIVABLE. Well we pull a villain (maybe someone like Thrax who has a history in Angel Grove) have him want to finish mom and dad's work, so BAM monsters attack. A new team comes in with Powers are derived from an ancient source, something that has been hidden for generations, but that something being what atttracted so much evil to Angel Grove in its years of consistent monster attacks (a Hellmouth of sorts). These powers were what helped create a team of Guardian Angels in the past, Guardian Angels that eventually evolved into Power Rangers. So there you go, the new team of Rangers were dubbed Guardian Angels long ago (because you can use that term without offending many people), and in there honor the area was dubbed the Grove of the Guardian Angels, eventually shortened to the Guardian Angel's Grove, to the Angel's Grove, to finally simply Angel Grove.
