Found this on Youtube. It's the opening to White Light from the DVD The Best of Power Rangers. But that theme tune sounds odd... apparently because it's the British release (PAL instead of NTSC). And the title card was changed to have the DVD's name instead of the season name.

It sounds sped up to me.

^- It's pitched up. It happens with the conversion to PAL or something. I remember one of the Polish PR YouTubers saying that the conversion to PAL speeds a video up by 1.04% (don't know where he got that number from). If you watch a PR video on YouTube that comes from France or Spain and the BGM (or opening theme for that matter) sounds odd, now you know why.
Doesn't always happen though. I remember in the UK, MF's opening sounded pitched up. JF and RPM sounded normal though. And in another thread Digifiend posted a truncated MMPR opening (from GMTV) and that sounded normal. What's the deal?

I have the American DVD of "The Best of Power Rangers."
Granted that is not the affected source but mine sounds normal.

I kind of like the theme in that key.

Personally, I prefer it in E minor (the original key)

@ZeroKing
I wish I knew!
@Andros and OujaStrike
You have the US version? Does it have the same modified title card?

No, it doesn't. This had to have been a fan edit.

Hmm, to me it sounds sped. I don't know much about music though so I'm not really sure.

This is the correct pal dvd version, I have owned it for about 6 years and it has the same opening.

Then I wonder why they changed it for the PAL version but left the original one intact on the NTSC version?
And did they do the same to the other episodes on the DVD? I don't have it so I can't check myself.

Oh don't get me wrong. The original is the best. It's just kind of cool to hear it a bit higher up.
Off topic: Digifiend, what is your avatar of? It's cool lookin'.

Its the only episode with a new intro, and CTD is spliced into one episode rather than 2 eps but I assume thats the same as the US dvd version.

@yonkomother
Yep, as Crayfish said, it's Red Dragon - specifically, artwork of it from the Ranger Strike card game.

As far as the higher-pitched music is concerned, it may have been done by the uploader to avoid having it taken down. Lots of music uploads on Youtube are like that for that very reason.

It was uploaded in January 2009, so no. Apparently the other episodes have the same pitch change on the European DVD.

Oh yeeeeeah. I see it now. I saw the red and blue and thought it was some sort of crazy Tron/Gridman thing. It's cool though, now that I know what it REALLY is.
