Season Summary:
Flashman is the tenth installment in the Super Sentai Franchise. Head Writer Hirohisa Soda said the inspiration of the Flashman came from at the time there were reports of Japanese children being taken from their homes and later found in Chinese slave camps so he wanted to write a story about five warriors who were taken from their homes as children and long to find their parents. Flashman is the first second to introduce a second robo and the first Sentai to feature Yutaka Hirose, a fan favorite actor and the go-to guy to play villains in Sentai, in the cast. Flashman also features the return of Sayoko Hagiwara, Rei/ Dyna Pink from Dynaman, as the villainess Ley Nefel. Flashman was a hit in Brazil, that to this day Brazilian fans still debate with each other which series was better: it or it's predecessor Changeman.
In 1966, five children were kidnapped by the an alien group known as the Alien Hunters, for the sake of the Reconstructive Experiment Empire Mess - who wanted samples of humans from Earth to experiment on. They were rescued by the Flash alien race, which took each one to a different planet of the Flash solar system for training. Each of them was trained separately from the others in a range of superpower abilities that will allow them to fight Mess. When they finally return to Earth in 1986 to combat Mess, who is now trying to invade it, they use the opportunity to search for their birth parents. They later learn that their time on earth will be cut short. Their birth planet's atmosphere has become deadly to them and after a year, they will die from what is known as the Anti-Flash Phenomenon.

In order to celebrate the premiere of the 35th season of Super Sentai, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, RangerCrew will be hosting monthly, seasonal discussions. A new month means two new seasons. Throughout the month, we'll post questions to the fans to get their input on various topics regarding the particular seasons. Feel free to share your favorite episodes and moments, as well as your personal critiques about the seasons.
