Glad I was able to be there right away and get the Gold passes for my fiancé and me. I was completely done with everything before even 11:30 my time, so at least I know I was in the first half or so of getting in.

Now we just hope that everything else prior to August goes well for the two of us and that we'll be able to make it.

I had tried looking at flights about a week ago, and it only went as far as August 15th. Most people will probably try to fly out on the 16th, so when I had tried a week ago, flights weren't available yet. I'll have to check again, but it might still be too early to book flights.

One thing i am amazed at is how cheap the registration is. I just hope I can get the money in time because I really want the Silver. Should be within 2 weeks. Damn moving.

I think a big thing for us is that the Red Ranger package never really appreciate in price. It's still pretty much the same thing PMC charged in 2007. Gold Ranger allows for VIP access and swag, Silver Ranger allows for swag, but if you just want the same convention experience as everyone else, all you ever need is Red. Gold and Silver do not depreciate Red, and that is, to me, important.
