Wilshire Grand Closes

A little nostalgia here, but the Wilshire Grand Hotel (site of the first Morphicon) is closing down. It sounds like it's mostly for renovation purposes to turn it into a a much taller skyscraper, but still, it won't be the same hotel.

I actually thought the closing was going to go through two years ago, but I guess there was never a proper refinancing. RIP Wilshire Grand, you were an awesome venue and had a totally kickass buffet.

R.I.P. Wilshire Grand. You will always be remembered for PMC1 and the various moments that fans shared with each other and the cast/crew members. I still remember our awesome room on the 15th floor.
