This is the first Star Points Fan Interview with Johnny Yong Bosch, also known as Adam the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger, Green Zeo Ranger, Green Turbo Ranger, and now the leader of the Retro Rangers. We would like to personally thank him for taking the time to answer some questions for us.

How did you hear about the Power Rangers role?
My Martial Arts Instructor


Which cast member were you closest with?
MMPR - Turbo was Jason Frank and Jason Narvy.


How would you compare yourself with your character?
We're both half asian


What episode was your favorite?
Any episode where i get the girl


What was the most challenging part of being a Ranger?
Spandex


How did you hear about the role?
Koichi Sakamoto


Which cast member did you get along with the most?
For the most part I got along with all of them.

How long did it take to film the teamup?
I was there for about a month


Which set was better? New Zealand or Valencia?
As far as set - Valencia - because we had Air Conditioning


What is your favorite memory from filming the teamup?
Cracking jokes with the retro rangers and trying not to make the overdrive kids laugh on camera

Haha, that part really made me smile. JYB seems like a great person and I love and follow everything he does, I hope maybe we'll see him around here someday :D

Awsome an actor from something that other rangers have been quoted to say they'll never live down is still interested and active in the pr community. I suppose it's employment lol with what he done on PPOO... only kidding he is my fave ranger behind JDF & AJJ

No offense, I know this is a quick interview but the whole thing seemed really...fake to me.

I dunno how else to explain it, it's just a feeling.

Maybe it's cause I didn't really learned anything I haven't heard, read or seen anywhere else.

I mean it had a "A Fan Wrote This Up" kind of vibe for ME personally, especially cause the answers didn't seem to have much thought or explanation behind them, they were like two word/basic knowledge answers.

Sounds and feels like a VERY different Johnny than the one I've watched on television and heard in interviews on YouTube.

I dunno it's just how I feel reading this.

If this REALLY was with JYB then I hope he takes no offense to what I'm saying.

This was a quick interview that I did with JYB after OaR. He was cool enough to take the time to answer questions for us. I used the same format as I do with most of my quick fan interviews.

For the most part, Johnny seems like a rather chill and laid back kinda guy. "A man of few words." Just like Adam. :)

Apart from Jason David Frank I think Jhonny Young Bosch is more noticable in Power Rangers, he's had more appearances in PR as cameos he's also done a lot more voice over work than any of the other rangers and one of his best roles, i thought, was the fairly recent Devil May Cry 4 where he got to play the main protagonist Nero, cool but not as cool as Dante.

I have had the honor of meeting Johnny at quite a few conventions, and at working with him at Morphicon. I have to say he is one of the sweetest guys I've ever met - as well as a talented musician and voice actor. And actor of course - omaga is right, Adam IS awesome, and one of my favorite characters!! I also love to torture him in my fanfics - he's such a fun character to write! Thanks for this interview, it's really cool to hear what he's up to.
