The short film produced by Bubsy Ent. (Jason's company) is called "Pact". Jason was only an actor in this movie and in "Witchouse"

It wouldn't be the first time he's played Alexander the Great, but it's good to see he's still out there on the screen nonetheless.Yay Jason!

When I first heard about this thought they were just reusing the footage from "The Art of War". Cool to see it may be new.

Here is a video of the battle recreation:

It is a show that records videos that correspond to their 1000 battle simulations, so they need to always make original footage. The show is more about collecting the data and the footage is just a fun way of displaying the winner.

Now the name Alexander The Great is FOREVER joined to the image of Jason Faunt in my head. FOREVER. Alexander the Great will always have that sexy pout, as far as I'm concerned.
And I want to see this show. Why did Attila win? It looks very random from the recreation, Alexander was no wimp, he did conquer half of the world. I need to see how they support this result.

Well they do all that testing for a REASON, not just to fill the time slot. They do all that testing, put in the statistics and "run the simulation 1000 times". Atilla just had more kills than Alexander.
However, the one thing this show can't calculate is: heart.
Now if Attila had killed Alexander's father, Alexander would've had a vendetta against him, would've taken it more personal and maybe even fought a little harder.
But speaking from the standpoint of the armor and weapons the contestants used, that's all they can do is see who has more kills.

I wish I could find the full episode so everyone could watch it, but I was able to see it on TV.
Alexander had some good weapons, but the composite bow is what did most of the damage. It had the most kills by any weapon, largely due to it being strong, accurate, the ability to use it on and off a horse, and it was able to get many shots off quickly.
They did a good job measuring the data, and Alexander had powerful weapons, but they were basically one use weapons because they took so long to reload.
It wasn't like the results were one sided, it was a close match(as most tend to end up). The results were basically 60% of kills to Attila, and 40% to Alexander.
And while I can't find video of this episode, Spike's website has full episodes from season one(so that you can better get the idea of how the show collects the data):

For those who missed it last time, they are replaying the episode tonight at 9:00.
If if anyone is new to the show, they are showing older episodes starting at 7:00.
Also, the show is getting its own video game. I don't think there is a date yet, but it is conformed to be for X-Box live arcade:

And I have also found a link to what they call the "aftermath". It is them going back and discussing questions about the episode:

Was there any reason for pointing out a typo? You are not adding to the discussion, so why did you feel the need to post?

Jason posted on his FB that he will be again in the same show, this time as part of Jesse James' gang, when they face off against Al Capone's gang.

They showed that episode already. I didn;'t see him. Dang. I gotta wait an entire week to see it as a rerun. :(

The Al Capone one? They showed it already? :(
EDIT: DL both episodes. Saw only the recreations for now (lack of time right now) But the show looks cool. Almost missed Jason entirely in the Jesse James one, the hats made it very hard to tell them apart. Too bad he got killed both times :(
