Firass Dirani is in a brand new Australian film that open here on Feb 26th. The film is called "The Combination".

Firass plays a 17 yr old Lebanese-Australain student. The film is very gritty & spectular!.

Thanks for posting! Looks like Firass Dirani won't be returning to the States anytime soon, maybe not even for a PR anniversary special. He has done very well for himself as an actor and I don't blame him for moving on to bigger things for his career. A lot of people are just out there for the money and will be in any TV show or film, but he is going in the right direction by carefully picking more challenging roles that he can best fit to expand his craft and rep Australia at the same time. I was so disappointed with his tiny 5-second role in John Cena's U.S. film, "The Marine." They should've given him a supporting role either as one of Cena's friends or one of the bad guys. What a waste of a good actor.

According to this week's new Australia's Tv Week magazine (27/8-2/9):-

Firass Dirani is set to film a movie in Melbourne this year opposite a "prestigious Hollywood actress". Currently filming ABC drama, 'The Straits' in Cairns, Firass tell Tv Week the film, 'Last Dance', would be "an actor's delight". "I play a militant who kidnaps an old lady and takes her captive for the entire film," he reveals.
"It's pretty ambitious, but hopefully I can pull it off!".

"The Combination" premieres on ABC1 tonight (26/1) @ 9.35pm. This film caused constroversy & in cinema brawls in Sydney back in '09. It's also the film, which lead to Firass Dirani being cast in the lead role of the 3rd "Underbelly" series.

Also next week, Firass is in a 10 part ep series about a crime family who operate up in far north Qld. It could the aussie version of the "Sopranos".
