Story:
In the near future, the mysterious and sinister Venjix Computer Network is attempting to conquer and lay ruin to the entire planet. Mankind has retreated into environmentally-shielded domed cities to protect against the pollution and machines unleashed by Venjix. In the shining city of Corinth, an elite force of Rangers must learn to drive and operate an arsenal of radically advanced biotech vehicles in order to battle the attacking machine army bent on world domination.

I'll be honest, I didn't like the opening music in the leaked trailer, but now that I've heard it in full and I've heard it a few times, it's growing on me slightly. I don't think it's great, but I don't hate it either. And the opening looks pretty cool. I can't wait to download the premiere and watch it. I definitely get a different, better vibe from this opening. It's like it's telling me that they mean business and that it's going to be good.

No i meant AFTER the official opening. It was during the "Listen carefully okay." When she started talking about the "The World Internet Federation reported the appearance of an aggressive new computer worm---------
the Venjix Virus." It was during that part that i saw the small clip from Ninjastorm. The PRNS episode was "Snip,Snip,Snip it good" w/ the conference room.
By the its fair to say Flynn is irish and i think he said "...crap!" after he rescued those people in his bus.
And that Colonel Truman said sons. Plural. Hmmm....................that sucks for Scott`s brother then. So sad.

....That was either good budget-saving, or Eddie really picked when to sow the seeds of RPM. Likely the former, but works as the latter also.

Exactly. And I like that. Means we don't have to pay super-duper attention to pick up on things like last names.

I'm of two minds on Power Rangers RPM.

On the one hand I think its off to a great start, and has the potential to revive the PR Fanbase enough to give the series another year or two, but I'm not holding my breath.

On the other hand The Car theme is getting kind of Old.

Cyborg, actually. It's confirmed that Dillon is a human with mechanical implants in enhance his abilities, but unlike T7(or so I can presume at this point), he is still a human. In fact, they detail that Dillon's not quite a full machine during his interrogation and when Doc K is talking to the Rangers about his cybernetics.

I actually like the theme song. It reminds me of the old PR toy commercial songs (and G.I. Joe).
I think we expected a little too much and are just in that brief dissapointment phase. We'll get over it as the series progresses. We're just still being weaned off four years of Kalish-PR. Not to mention we've been spoon-fed "I can make you Power Rangers" for so long. It's nice to see a twist in the formula.

That's not the impression i'm getting. It exceeded my expectations, and it's a sharp break off from Kalish-PR. There's no gradual shift. We went from Now the Final Fury to The Road to Corinth, and wow, the difference.

MMPR's opening is also catchy. Obnoxiously so. The RPM theme just feels bland and uninteresting to me. If they had reworked 'the one that everyone liked' a bit more, I think it could of been a good theme. That being said, it's hardly a deal breaker, i'm really enjoying the show so far.

That thought occurred to me earlier, and I don't know why they'd repeatedly lower the shields. I don't really have any good guesses, but I'm willing to wait for a week or two to find out how they're going to work in the Sentai.

They secretly have monsters already in the city...or ones that snuck in during the first episodes entrance to the city.

wow, not to get anyones hopes up but if the majority of the season will be this good then we might see a shinkenger adaptation next year. BUT we still have to wait for Judd`s episodes and the arrival of Gold & Silver. However i dont like how theyre spreading the Go-onger Banki`s 1 banki for every 2 eps. not good plus i can already tell from the 1st episode we will be seeing Pipe Banki next time so hopefully black and green make their debuts next episode. And good point, how will the Bankis infiltrate and attack the city? Or will they be using ALOT of new footage?

And again im impressed seeing how many ppl are enjoying this season so far. AND on YouTube TONS of good reviews.

We know, you're probably the 100th person that brought that up. That 4 minute trailer was a rough version of the trailer so everything in it, including footage and music, was rough. We won't be hearing MGS music in RPM, that was just for that rough trailer that was never meant to be aired on TV.

The RPM theme sounds like a parody of itself. I think there was potential with 'the demo that everyone liked.' If they could have expanded on that western/twang bit at the beginning and integrated it more into the song it could have been great. None of the demo themes really fit the series, but that's just my opinion.

I think Venjix did what you described or copied his consiousness into Earth's systems before hand. Or perhaps the virus is a product of Venjix. But I personally think it is Venjix.

Who knows, maybe Tommy knew Venjix did this a set up a fire wall to keep Venjix trapped. Only for it to be breached in RPM's timeline.

Yup, I feel this way too.

We knew it would be challenging to contain that impressive amount of content (7 rangers and 13 zords/vehicles) within 32 episodes even before RPM premiered, and that's why I am so interested to find out how Disney will handle the introduction of the several new elements as flawlessly as possile when the first 3 episodes are already so spaced out.

Guys, yesterday at work in the break room I was daydreaming about me and a few friends going to Disney and convincing them to renew the show for another 3 seasons. I don't remember how we got to them but all I remember is that we had picket signs outside of the headquarters, fighting for them to renew the show. We then got to go inside and explain why the show is so important to us and why we wanted to renew it. All 7 of us got to explain from our perspective why we wanted to keep the show going. They then made a decision to not renew the show. So we didn't give up. We stood on the highest point of the building until they made a decision to renew the show. We stood there for a total of 18 days; they then finally made a decision to renew the show. But of course in rl I would never do anything like this because it's very crazy and I love this show but I'm not about to stand on top of a building to keep this show running. Lol. I'm acrophobic, so I'm definitely not going to stand on top of a building.

And I repeat..........it was only a day dream.

I get the same feeling, especially since we saw him stare at the two siblings with the umbrella. My guess is that what happened with Dillon resembles that scene. He and his sister were together, and like the little boy that pushed the girl outside the umbrella, Dillon did something he thought couldn't harm or effect her, and something did. So now he's out to look for his sister. All the little details like what happened to his sistser and such are still unclarified of course.

After having a look at the Go-onger bankijyu's i am willing to believe that:

Episode 4 "Go for the green": We shall have Scoop banki and the two new zords will debut.

Episode 5: "Handshake": we will get the Spray banki.

Episode 6: "Ranger green": is our possible Birca Gattai debut.

Now episode 7, 8 and 9: are a problem cause by episode 9 A.K.A "Ranger yellow II" We are expected to have already gotten Ganbaru-oh, so i hardly see any focus episodes to bring in the Carrygator, Engine-oh Gunpherd and the Valve max combo, So i'm kinda stuck.

But after episode 9, We have 10 which is currently unnamed, After looking into it, I have found out that we shall have the debut of Engine-oh G6.

But of course as Terrierlee said, We have to Just wait and see.
