Q: What do you feel Tenya 7 brings to Power Rangers RPM?
A: I think Tenaya helps connect the villians to the audience because she looks human. It's much easier to like and enjoy the performance of a real person rather than someone in a monster suit :).

Q: Do we see her want to become more human or more robot through the series??
A: Throughout the season Tenaya's pretty happy with being a robot, I don't think she really cares about humans as she reckons they're weak and pathetic.

Q: Whats it like being a villain?
A: Fun! I get to have evil monologues, all the cheesy villian lines ("I'll get you for this!!!!" haha) AND I get to do the most fights which I love.

Q: Were there any scenes that were hard to do?
A: A lot of the fight scenes were hard going, I walked away with bruises more than once but its great fun. I was sick for a couple of ep's at the beginning so it was hard to work for 12 hours straight when I was headachey
and snotty...not pretty :S

Q: As a villain, what was your favorite scene in RPM?
A: Hmm...I don't know to be honest! Beating the Rangers is always good but I love a lot of the interaction between dr.K and Ziggy. Dr.k just shuts him down so often it cracks me up. Not terribly villiany though.

Q: And how is your relationship with the rangers?
A: Good I hope! Everyone bonded really well but it was a little hard for me to keep up with everyone. We worked on different crews most of the time so I didn't get to work with them as often as I would have liked to.

Q: Was it hard to get into the character of Tenaya 7?
A: Yes! She's a really confident character and can be quite vindictive and nasty. I was the shy kid who read in the library at lunch time instead of playing on the monkey bars with everyone else haha. I've always been a bit awkward and self concious and I don't like being horrible to people so it was a little difficult, but I got better at getting into character as the season progressed.

Q: Did you have to do a lot of martial arts training for the part?
A: We all had 2 weeks of intensive training leading up to filming for 3 hours every morning. The third day was the worst, everything ached and we were so tired. Laziest kicks and rolls ever :D

Q: Is it fun working on power rangers?
A: Yeah its a blast, lots of cool people to hang with, the crew are great and the stunties were so awsome!!!

Q: How has working on Power Rangers compared to other acting gigs you've had, and basically, how's life in general?
A: Life is good haha just planning a trip to LA to see whats happening and hopefully going to go to the COmic-con. I'll come anyway maybe just as a civilian and geek out if the petition doesn't work, I just wanna go :D. I've only had one other major role, on an Aussie soap but I used to love rangers when I was little so this has been a really positive experience for me.

Q: Was that you whistling "Farmer In The Dell"?
A: Yup! Whistling is one of my best skills.

Q: Did you enjoy playing your character, Tenaya 7?
A: Yeah I got explore a part of my own personality that hasn't really seen the light of day so it was nice to kinda see what it was like to be that bad-***.

Q: Would you have liked to be the Green Ranger?
A: I dunno it would have been cool to be any colour Ranger (especially black... but they're not gonna make a girl black Ranger are they?). It would have been sweet to have my own action figure :D. Now I've done it I'm not sure if I would have made the same friendships as I have done with certain people so I think in hindsight it was more fun for me to be a villian.

Q: Ever watched Power Rangers a kid? If so, did you have a favorite season, favorite Ranger?
A: Yes! I watched it when I was quite young but my favorite is still MMPR! I have both PR movies on DVD....and that was before I auditioned for the show -.-;;

Q: How does it feel to be part of a Power Ranger series?
A: I was really honoured! All my family and friends watched Rangers when I was little so it wasn't just a job for me. I got to work a show that had a lot of history for me and in some ways has shaped my interests now in martial arts, comics and anime.
