Q: Was it a coincidence that your character's name is the same name as your own?
A: A complete coincidence

Q: What was it like to work with Amy Jo Johnson?
A: We didn't have that much time together, but she was sweet. I am sure it was a little awkward that I was replacing her ,but she went onto bigger and better things. :)

Q: What was your reaction when you were to replace the original Pink Ranger?
A: I didn't know much about the show other than it was a successful children's show. I was thrilled to get cast in an international show.

Q: Was it always planned that Tommy would move on from Kimberly to Kat?
A: I know when I was "evil" Kat, I was supposed to lure him away from Kim, but I am not sure if the producers intended on me being the new girlfriend at first. I guess it just kind of unfolded that way.

Q: Did you get to keep any of the props?
A: They gave us our commanders on our final episode

Q: Do you have any favorite memories from any episodes?
A: Nothing jumps to mind. I have great memories of my time on the show overall.

Q: Since you were the pink ranger for three different seasons, has pink become a favorite color of yours?
A: It's funny. I didn't wear pink for a few years after the show. Pink Overdose. I have introduced it into my wardrobe again however. :)

Q: Do you still keep in close contact with your former cast mates from MMPR to Turbo?
A: Nakia and I are very close friends and see each other regularly. I just got back in touch with Blake Foster (Justin) and Jason Narvy (Skull). I am going to see Karan Ashley (Aisha) at the Los Angeles Anime Convention in July. A little Power Rangers reunion if any of you fans are interested. :)

Q: Is it more fun playing a villain or a hero?
A: Playing a villain was really fun although people like you more when you are a hero!

Q: Did you like the Passing the Torch episode or would you have preferred to stay on until the series officially ended?
A: I enjoyed filming that episode althought it was very sad for us all to say goodbye. I think for the sake of the show and the fans, we should have stayed on and finished turbo and then they could have brought on a new cast for a new season. It was kind of a weird interruption looking back on it.

Q: What was the reason for you leaving the show?
A: It was time to move on. You can't stay a teenage super hero forever. :)

Q: Did you want to stay for another season?
A: I think I was ready to move on.

Q: Have you watched Power Rangers after you left the show?
A: No, I haven't actually.

Q: How does it feel to have your own Action Figure?
A: Surreal

Q: Would you like to attend the next Power Morphicon?
A: What is that?

Q: If you were ask to return to Power Rangers, would you?
A: I would absolutely come back. It would be fun to have a reunion.

Q: What was your favorite part of being on the show?
A: I got to have some amazing experiences. Meeting kids through "Make a Wish" or "Starlight Foundation", whose last wish was to meet the Power Rangers. I loved that I could make their dream come true. Powerful. The reason I became an actor was to affect people in a positive way and I got a chance to do just that. I feel very grateful.

Q: There is a rumor that states that you were offered a role in Power Rangers: Dino Thunder. Is this true?
A: They were going to bring me back but due to costs, it didn't happen. It would have been fun.

Q: Do you still get recognized for playing Katherine Hillard much?
A: I do actually. It seems like a lifetime ago that I was on the show so when I get recognized, it takes me by surprise.

Q: Was learning the Turbo morph hard at all for you?
A: Not really

Q: Favorite/Least Favorite Foods?
A: Chocolate, Sushi, My husband's cooking

Q: Did you have any mishaps/accidents while filming PR?
A: I hurt my ankle (mildly) while filming turbo the movie

Q: Any pranks while filming PR?
A: Jason Narvy and Paul schrier took all my furniture out of my dressing room once. We were always goofing around with each other.

Q: What do you like to do for fun?
A: I love having little adventures with my family, going to the movies, spending time with friends and recently, I have discovered Zumba, which is a blast! During the class, I catch myself smiling! It really is a lot of fun.

Q: How has your life been after PR?
A: After the show I continued pursuing acting. I got certified as a personal trainer and then became a gyrotonic instructor. I still do the odd commercial or print job here and there but gave up pursuing acting as a career in 2004. It is more of a hobby for me now. I as married in 2003, had our first child Lily in May 2006, 2nd child Callum in January 2007. I now take care of my little pumpkins full time. Can't imagine having the time to work consistently to be honest. :) My daughter and I have done a few jobs together. We recently filmed a Rice Krispies commercial which is supposed to air in July.

Q: Did you learn anything from the experience of being on the show?
A: Appreciate every moment.

Q: Have you ever seen the Australian Soap, “Home and Away”. If so, do you know of Jason Smith (last year's Red Ranger)?
A: Home and Away is a very popular Austalian Soap. I know it well. I don't know Jason Smith but I have been living away from Australia for 14 years now!

Q: Does it feel great to be the first Aussie to be part of the show?
A: I have never really thought about it that way. I guess it is kind of cool.

Q: How much training did you have to do for your role?
A: None for the series. For the movie, we did quite a bit of stunt rehearsal.

Q: Did you have any diving or gymnastics training prior to PR?
A: Not at all. I was a dancer so that helped.

Q: How does it feel to be part of a show that has lasted for over 15 seasons?
A: I feel honored to have been a part of such a legendary series.

Q: What was the most difficult part of filming PR?
A: Long days and some of the locations we shot at were challenging. I remember one day during Zeo, Nakia and I nearly got blown away filming. It was that windy. We shot at a place called Vasquez Rocks quite often and it was incredibly hot and windy there.

Q: What was a typical day at the set like?
A: Early starts...usually around 6-6:30am. Makeup and hair and then breakfast. We would usually start shooting a few hours later. We would have a rehearsal and lighting check first. In between shooting, we would hang out, chat, eat, sleep, make phone calls...etc. We would usually be on set about 12 hours. Long days. It is hard to recall all the details because it was so long ago. I remember having fun!

Q: What suit (MMPR, Zeo, or Turbo) was your favorite?
A: MMPR for sure

Q: Did you have any input on your character?
A: The writers definitely put some of my personality into Kat. I was a singer and dancer so they added that into the array of things kat was good at. :) Was there anything Kat couldn't do? I guess that is why she was a superhero.

Q: What was it like to work with the "Alien Rangers" cast members?
A: I didn't work with them that much. David Yost worked them a lot. I did become friends with Rajia Baroudi (The Leader of the Alien Rangers). Her boyfriend at the time became my personal trainer for the movie.

Q: What was your reaction to the end of MMPR storyline?
A: I was sad that Karen decided to leave but Nakia and I quickly became friends. She is like a sister to me. I thought they did a good job with the final episodes of MMPR. I thought it was a good transition.

Q: What was the experience like filming the Turbo movie?
A: We filmed it so fast. I really enjoyed doing the movie. Jason and I got to travel to locations in Tennessee and Northern California, which was fun. It was an intense shoot but I have great memories.

Q: How was the martial arts training like?
A: Fun, but challenging. We had an amazing stunt team and stunt coordinator.

Q: Did you like the Angel Grove song (sung by you and Karan)?
A: A little on the cheesy side.

Q: What was your initial reaction when you heard that you got the part?
A: I screamed followed by the butterflies. I was in a state of shock. The first phone call was to my parents. My mum screamed too. :)

Q: If you could be any other Ranger, who would it be?
A: The White Ranger because he was a leader.

Q: What are your favorite shows?
A: Grey's Anatomy, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Sex and the City, Seinfeld.

Q: Are you looking forward to any movies this year?
A: I don't get to the movies much these days.
