Looking for a good KR series to watch.

As the title suggests, Can anybody recommend me a good Kamen Rider series? And perhaps tell me why you found it good? and which episodes you think I'd enjoy?

As far as specific episodes, I really can't point out which are the best. However, if you want a good series of Kamen Rider, check out these:

Kabuto - My personal favorite and a great place to start. Most of the characters are likable and there's several riders to choose from so if you don't like one, you have another to look forward to.

Faiz - Another good series to start off on if you want to watch. The villains are probably the best part, at least the Orphenochs that try to fight the forces of evil despite what they are. I loved it anyway.

Kiva - This one's a little different from other rider series. It focuses on monsters, vampires specifically, and it feels more like a horror TV show than it does anything else and it's fun that way.

Den-O - A season that's just plain silly to start off on. The characters have their own comedic flare, especially the Imagins, whom undeniably steal the entire show. If you want a show that you don't want to take tooo seriously, go for this.

These are the ones I would try first. Lemme know how it all works out. :)

I have tried some Den-O and it was just as you described it, But deep down i have enjoyed it most out of all the KR shows i have seen, i might check out Kabuto next.:)

Actually i think I'll try Faiz first, since a lot of people seem to be pushing for it, then I'll check out Kabuto.

Really, honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any Kamen Rider.

Ryuki is really good, but you knew that! :D

Faiz is definitely a great series to start with when first getting into Kamen Rider! :)
It was my first series and it got me into KR.

...Kabuto is great as well.

Faiz is just to awesome!

- Blade is amazing, the ending is very sad though :( It does start off slow, but around episode 10 the season picks up very quickly.

- Ryuki is good too, im only on episode 19 though, but so far it dosen't feel like KR because of all the Riders fighting eachother

- Kiva is a fan favourite, but I personally dont like it, the ending was too "perfect" it dosen't leave you thinking like the other KR finales

Another one i would like some opinion on is Hibiki, I saw a couple of episodes and honestly i didn't like it much, what did you guys think of it?

Hibiki was really boring for me... but then mid-way or so, it picks up and I get hooked. Then the few final episodes come and I'm at the edge of my seat... only to be disappointed by the finale episode. Talk about anti-climatic... it builds up for nothing. I was like "WHAT THE HELL?!?!" :sad:

Overall, I was somewhat disappointed by it -- mainly because of the ending.

I'd recommend all the heisei series here's my view on them
Kiva: Good
Den-O: Funny
Kabuto: A true Rider
Hibiki: Dispite what people say it's worth a watch
Blade: The RPG of Kamen Rider
Faiz: Like kabuto but 3 years earlier
Ryuki: A bit of everythin

Nobody is recommending Decade, but I think you could watch Decade by itself and still get a lot out of it even having not seen all of the Riders from the past 10 years.

Well, of course, I recommend Decade! It's probably my most-favorite series yet! :D

But I think it's a lot more fun to watch Decade when you already know the old Riders. I didn't see Kuuga or Agito so I didn't enjoy those episodes as much as I probably could've... but I really enjoyed the episodes where I have already seen that Rider's series -- especially Faiz and Kabuto worlds since those were my favorite series.

However, I think Decade can also be a good "taste testing" series... i.e. you really like "_____ no sekai" episodes, so you go and watch the entire series of that Rider...

^That's actually exactly what I did. I had never seen Kamen Rider before Decade, other then Masked Rider, and some people thought I was was crazy to watch Decade before I had seen any of the others. But now I can see that I like Kamen Rider, and am beginning to watch Ryuki. I must say Faiz and Kabuto look good to me as well. And it helps that now there will be a Shinkenger/Decade crossover.

And with Decade, I also sort of like Natsumi..heh. :D

Agreed, thats exactly why I haven't started Decade. Im still watching all past Rider seasons

I think you should find it very likeable, as much as I did, not the only one I saw tho, but my most favorite one.

Wasn't he the guy who was treating Takumi like crap when he found out he was an Orphenoch? Who was obsessed with Mari even though she never liked him that way?

When he died it was sad, but he didn't believe Orphenochs had souls, and didn't want to think otherwise, which was sad since we all know Takumi is a perfect example

I'm also starting on black now, to get an idea of the Shadow moon story arc, Plus i have now reached Faiz 33, I'll give my report on that later.
