His story sucked IMO because it was started too late and was one-note (every episode ending with Hartford looking depressed as Mack walked away and dissed him). Mack DID become a suicidal psycho, who killed himself unnecessarily, but I could hardly fault him for killing Flurious. PR is a series that embraces the death penalty for villains who would harm others. Mack's downward spiral was realistic given the ridiculous crap that Hartford had done to him, but not something I wanted to see.

And as much as disliked Mack's story, it would have been less insulting than what Eddie had planned for Dillon.
I remember when it was revealed Mack wasn't human I went WHAT THE HELL HE'S A ROBOT?!!!He was the character I liked the most and they turned him into a damn robot why couldn't Tyzon have been the robot he had the personality of one?!

I can't help but imagine The Mutiny starting with Zach ripping his skin off and declaring himself Lord Zedd. (Then Tommy could have had the lion zord!)

I'm not saying that this should have been the ending honestly its wack son its booty and on top of that the kids that turn out to be the most traumatized are usually the caucasian ones and I admit I didn't have a problem with it at that time but later in my life I abused drugs and alcohol to get over it

plain and simple.. the older demographic.

you responded to what you thought i ment. not my point
Your grammar is crap. To be honest I didn't even understand your response now. And now that I've read it again and have more of an idea about what it was about? I still don't think much of it.

Your first post that kicked this off:

    i do.
but i see RPM as a nod to the older fans. its taken the franchise to a level where the older fans love it new feel but at the same time keep it at a level where the young ones aren't forgotten. i think if they tweaked that Leaked ending, it would be acceptable and not totally demeaning to the series and audience as a whole.

but then again i dont know how it originally was in its entirety
You know WELL that "older fans" basically equates to "old fanboy who grew up on this show and never left." Because few to no adults just start watching PR one day. RPM isn't attracting many viewers, let alone teens/adults who didn't watch or care about the show before. And you should also know that "young fan" basically equals "new fan" as well.

So you made a VAGUE post that sensibly would be interpreted the way I interpreted it. Then you come back to me with a poorly-spelled response where you suddenly try to nitpick semantics and claim that I had gotten you all wrong. Give me a break.

RPM skews toward an older audience than most seasons. Nobody disputes that, and I didn't either. It also didn't try to be very Power Rangerish aside from a bunch of observational jokes earlier in the season, as I said.

    Scary ain't it?
You know what's nuts? The theater I saw TF:TM in, the legion of four to eight year olds were relatively boisterous even through Prime's death. When Starscream was killed? You could hear a pin drop. THAT'S when the waterworks and mass evacuations of crying children began.

Why is a five year old at a PG13 movie in the first place?

Didn't I say that RPM was like a fanfic brought to screen...and I got flamed for it...
Eddie's ending does feel out of place an kinda like a certain one-finger salute to the fans and the franchise... After all, the premiere and the whole darn season was about "Dillon". Honestly I wasnt to know how everything past "Belly" would've been; would explain the finale.

They're talking about the animated Transformers. Though I totally understand people crying while trying to get through that god awful Revenge of the Fallen.
