You bring up a good point because I remember seeing that in epic 13 too and the context of that confused me too...I was like why would she say something like that to her brother?! Just wondering, am I the only person who didn't hate this series? It could be because this was the first Sentai series I always watched, but I've seen Gokaiger, Megaranger, and Shinkenger and I thought that Goseiger was just as good as Megaranger (comparing it to Gokaiger or Shinkenger isn't fair. Those two series are amazing). What was it about Goseiger that was so bad? I didn't hate Alata. I didn't hate any of the villans. I dont know.... I just dont see whats so bad about this series.
General consensus on Goseiger is that people see it as boring, too childish, and its message of hope and optimism too unrealistic; with little in the way of plot or character development. It also gets hate for having a young-looking cast.
Me personally, I find Goseiger to be one of those shows where you have to give it a second or third look in order to really appreciate it.
That was one of the biggest complaints, that they fixed problems by just popping a miracle out of their ***. The characters were 2/2.5 dimensional. They had one personality and stuck to it, never varying much. Actually, I think Gosei Knight and Alata were the most 3 dimensional characters.
I personally loved it and the soundtrack is really fun. I liked the characters, even with their weak points. The popping miracles out of their *** every other episode was my biggest complaint until around epic 35 when the ball started rolling on Brajira.
I totally agree with you I hated this season but I watched it the FOURTH time too really like it.
It's just harder that any other season to get used to the characters. That was my main problem. Not the plot,villains or anything else. If only they were more serious how much better that show would be!
Most boring season ever. It's like reading a huge chapter book. This is when i stopped watching sentai.
