Master Head's sacrifice was pretty shocking. Gosei Ultimate was awesome. The defeat of the Yuuma Beast was good. I didn't really care much for the Yuuma Beast anyways lol

I just finished this show yesterday. All in all, it's pretty decent. Wasn't as good as Shinkenger or Gokaiger, but yet it was a fair bit better than Samurai. I see you guys have a nice list of questions here, so I'll take a stab at those, and post additional thoughts.

What do you think about the Henshin sequence for Goseiger?
There wasn't anything really special about it TBH. I don't think any morph has ever struck me as being too awesome for words.

What did you think of the premiere?
I liked their showing in Shinkenger vs Go-Onger, so I gave the series a shot. Was surprised that they had the standard intro in the first episode, since every other Sentai series I've seen didn't do that.

What did you think of the cast?
Young cast is young. Probably the youngest I've ever seen. They take some time getting used to as well. They're not quite as easy on the eyes as the Gokaigers, the Samurai Rangers, or even the Shinkengers, especially that Eri. I hear that horse has been beaten in it's grave though so I won't bother with that one. I did fancy Hyde's height though, as a taller fellow myself.

Who is your favorite Goseiger?
Can I say GoseiKnight? He's easily the best part of this whole season.

What did you think of the Warstar?
They were pretty ok. Not quite as interesting at the Matorintis, but waaay better than the Yuma beasts. Also a fair bit more developed than the Zangyack, which is kinda sad cause they were only around for a third of the series.

What did you think of the Gosei Machines and Gosei Great?
I like that there's a snake zord (you'll have to forgive me for calling them Zords, but that's the easiest way for me to go about it). Also the "plug and play" aspect is pretty neat. I was wondering how long it'd take them to put a headder on every peg. Also cool cockpit is cool. A whole lot better than the Shinkenger one at least.

What did you think of the Auxiliary Headders?
LANDMASTER MEGAZORD! That short messed me up quite a bit XD I expected there to be something to that extent though. I couldn't help but wonder how things would have gone if Magis had lived.

What did you think of Professor Amachi, Nozomu, Master Head, Datas and Datas Hyper?
The professor was a whole lot more bumbling that I expected. I did like how they showed he was in on it for a while and was just acting though. I usually don't like kid support characters like Nozomu, but he was actually pretty tolerable, and an understandable character. A whole lot better than the Armada kids and Kicker, that's for sure.

I expected a bit more out of Master Head, since he was basically...God. Probably for the best that they didn't really get into that. As for Datas, he's basically Alpha 2.0 except with a tinge of weeaboo (desu desu desu). I keep wondering what his face would look like in a PR version, since it's so blatantly Japanese. As for Datas Hyper, I liked the whole boxer aspect, and wasn't surprised in the least to see him combine with Gosei Great.

What did you think of the death of Dereputa?
One down, a whole lot more to go. I actually knew there were multiple villain groups going in, so was a bit apathetic towards him.

What did you think of the fall of WarStar and the return of Dereputa?
Happened a whole lot sooner than I expected, especially since they basically used the closest thing to the clusterfrag megazord that they had. I was surprised to see Dereputa come back, but figured it wouldn't amount to much.

What did you think of the Yuuma Beast and GoseiKnight?
I hated them. Especially that blob one, where every time he moved, it sounded like a fart. The bigfoot dude was also kinda annoying with his emphasis EMPHASIS EMPHASIS!!!

What did you think of the return of Bladerun, Groundion, and Gosei Ground?
I had heard that Bladerun (I like this spelling btw) was going to die many times, and I'd even seen him in Gokaiger, so I was interested in seeing how it'd all play out. Wasn't expecting Groundion to attack on to a dump truck. I actually wanted to use that alt mode too but oh well. Not a fan of Gosei Grand (his cell totally says "grandion" and "gosei grand"). The head design is unappealing imo.

What did you think of Ground Gosei Great, the Miracle Headders, and Super Goseiger?
I was expecting that combo, and I was also expecting them to stick every other headder on it (I think they ended up doing this too). I kept wondering why there were only FIVE miracle headders though. It's like Magis was fated to die or something. As for super mode, it was cool until they started getting tossed around in it. Getting beat up that much in super mode defeats the point of it IMO. At least when Dokoku nearly killed Takeru while the latter was super and the former was drying up, that actually MEANT something on a grand scale. Meanwhile every other monster is thrashing around the Super Goseigers. They don't even look like they're near the level of Gosei Knight.

What did you think of the reveal that Bladerun was playing the Yuuma Beast, only for Makuin and Kingugon to reveal that THEY were playing HIM and the death of Bladerun?
I liked how they ended up playing him. Made them look pretty good. I wasn't expecting him to actually get big and get killed like that either, so that was a nice twist.

What did you think of Master Head's sacrifice, Gosei Ultimate and the defeat of the Yuuma Beast?
I didn't think for a moment that Master Head was gone, just that he couldn't contact the Goseigers anymore. I'm not a fan of mechas that have a big giant head in the middle either. Meanwhile I was SOOOO glad the Yuuma Beasts were killed off. Annoying faction was annoying.

What did you think of the Matrintis?
Robogog is Shredder. No way around that one. They were also the most interesting faction, entirely cause of the tragedy that is Metal Alice.

What did you think of GoseiKnight's friendship with Nozomu and his rivalry with Metal Alice?
I really liked this part, as it was great development for GoseiKnight and Metal Alice. That whole point reached out to me on another level, because I have as much disdain for humanity as the Matrintis and GoseiKnight originally did. As such, I was interested in hearing an argument on what possible redeeming qualities humanity has, considering they're the sole source of all of earth's environmental woes. Granted, I didn't expect anything too deep, but I like to watch things that make me think.

What did you think of Gosei Wonder's re-introduction into the series?
Kyoryuu Shinken-Oh 2.0. That's all I can really say on that one XD

What did you think of Bladerun's return as BladeRUN?
Saw it coming, but didn't expect the whole cyborg part of it. It's actually pretty interesting that his plan was initially foiled by his own treachery.

What did you think of the defeat of the Matrintis?
Saw the backstab from Brajira coming as soon as Robogog wanted him to revive him. Meanwhile, Metal Alice is a total tragedy. She took the risk of betraying Robogog hoping for something better but got screwed over in the end. That's probably the most touching part of this whole show. It makes sense for it to end that way though because life isn't always ideal.

What did you think of Master Head's return and the reveal that Bladerun/BladeRUN was Brajira?
I saw these coming, but I didn't figure out that he was a fallen angel until they revealed it. I did like that his gambit partially backfired though. He was lucky that the Matrintis revived him, or his own treachery would have done him in.

What did you think of Brajira's Dark Headders, GoseiKnight turning evil, and the reveal that Professor Amachi knew about the Gosei Angels?
I guess GoseiKnight really does look better with the red visor. I loved how Alata summoned all of his inner strength and Falcon Punched him back to the side of good though. I think I mentioned the bit about the professor earlier. As for the dark headders, I noticed the increasing head count, and thought it was blatantly obvious that the third one was the third stake. On another note, when the Matrintis came in, I noticed that the first faction was Air based, the second land based, and the third Sea based.

What did you think of the finale?
I'm impressed the Alata had the resolve to basically kill a fellow angel. Brajira was a total butthole though so he had it coming. I should have known that the tree bit was foreshadowing though.

What did you think of the opening theme, the ending themes, and the series’ BGM?
Opening theme isn't anything special, but is IS an ear worm. Same with the ending. Also the guitar instrumental is awesome. As for the BGM, weak soundtrack is weak. It's incredibly generic, and doesn't suck you into the action like Shinkenger's did. Even Gokai's was better, despite also being a bit generic.

What did you think of the Goseiger’s cameo in Shinken vs. Go-on, Goseiger Epic on the Movie, Gosei vs. Shinken, and final thoughts on the series?
I liked their cameo, and the plug and play aspect of their weapons, so I gave the series a try. Gosei vs Shinken was EPIC, though it's entirely because of the Shinkengers. They made that movie. I did like the contrast of the serious business shinkengers and the mostly carefree Goseigers though. Alata's got as big of a heart as any red ranger, that's for sure. I also liked how quickly he and Takeru got along, which says loads about Takeru. Wasn't expecting Kaoru though, so that was neat.

Last epic was a fitting closing and epilogue for the team, but apparently it sold pretty poorly. It should be obvious as to why though.

Final thoughts on the series? Would you recommend this season to anyone? Why or why not?
All in all, it's an ok season. Few things really stood out, so I think this might be the standard for Sentai seasons. That's probably it's biggest flaw though. It's an average season, that not only came off the heels of an amazing season, but then was followed by an even better season, and then the season after that changed the game completely. The only real accomplishment it has is being better than Samurai on a storytelling level, and well...that's not really saying a whole lot at all.

That said, I would recommend it, but only for completion's sake. I hate to say that you should watch Shinkenger before it, but if you plan on watching the vs movie, then you have to. Knowing all about the Shinkengers is what made the vs movie awesome. However, on the same token, definitely definitely DEFINITELY watch this before Gokaiger...well the Gokai movies anyway. You'll have a better appreciation for them if you do. I'll be rewatching the 199 Heroes movie now that I have a better knowledge of the Gosiegers, and it'll probably enhance my viewing a good deal.

I really hate to call this show mediocre, but considering everything around it, that's all I can call it. That's a shame too, cause when it's good, it's REALLY good. The last arc, as well as GoseiKnight as a whole were easily the best parts of the whole show. Seriously, GoseiKnight is Tommy level badass. Definitely gonna spring for some kind of figure of him sometime.

I started my Goseiger marathon yesterday morning and watched through episode 12. I can already say that I am not a fan. I will apologize in advance if I offend any Goseiger fans.

The theme song is okay...starts off nicely with a slow and smooth melody (which fits the show's theme). The instrumental theme needs more of a kick. The Opening Theme looks like an intern made it. Very poor quality in the video editing.

The cast is young with decent personality. but not enough for me to enjoy the characters. I prefer the Samurai Cast over the Goseiger cast (which is saying a lot). I actually think the young boy (Nozumu) has better acting then the rest of the cast. Out of the primary Rangers, I would say that Gosei Red and Pink have the best acting (thus far). I don't like Alata's personality as the Red Ranger.

The story starts off slow, but the progression is pretty good in the first few episodes, followed by a bunch of filler episodes. The best episode that I've seen is the one when Nozumu struggles to do the flip and Alata pulls it off during the battle. Moune's focus episode was another good one.

The suits and helmets look terrible. If they wanted to represent a holy yet simplistic concept, they could've easily achieved that. I wouldn't have mind something similar to the Magiranger costume design. The helmet looked cluttered and outdated (with no disrespect to the pre-Zyu helmet design). The costumes are a major part of the show because they represent who the morphed team of the season are. I've seen good and bad costume design and for the most part, I've been pleased with most of the post-Zyu suits.

What's the deal with the "big head" morpher? I prefer a nice lightweight morpher. I hated GekiChopper (Rhino Ranger)'s bulky morpher. The card-theme concept is fantastic and could've worked nicely with a small card reader. We've seen great concepts used in the Digimon series.

The weapons are decent but nothing too exciting, which is fine. The combined Buster looks great. I do like the mechas, but not any of the auxilary combinations. The basic combination was beautiful. The card concept reminds me of Magiranger's Spell Codes...which hits the bulleyes for the usage. The "exotic brothers" scene reminded me of one of the Digimon when the primary character drew his own Digimon card.

I'm not a fan of Datas as an ally but his mecha mode is sweet! I enjoyed his first mecha fight (unlike most of the mecha fights this season).

Professor Amachi->Very funny guy I liked him
Nozomu->The kid was great in his role. Even more mature than some goseigers!

Datas->Why robots have to always be so charming and kiddish? OK apart from that he was fine and helped Goseiger a couple of times

Yuuma Beast is one of the best monsters ever. I loved all the episodes about it. GoseiKnight was awesome. He made the show at first watchable because before him it was awful and boring

Bladerun was the only interesting villain for me at first. I can't believe how far I was seeing,lol.

Since master head is supposed to be the God I was expecting he would return. As for Brajira I fell from the clouds in the sky. Super shock!

I was socked with how awesome finale it was. One of the best finales of all time!

The opening was ok, I liked much more the ending theme because it reminds me a lot of the song "2 Brothers on the 4th Floor-There's a key", so I loved it for that reason. The BGM was awesome as always

cameo was cool,the movie was an interesting approach of the Apocalypse, the vs was magnificent. Perfect combination with shinkenger's theme. I was shocked to like much more Goseigers than Shinkengers in it. After this I began to enjoy the show. Now final thoughts of the show. The show was awful at the beginning, ok later, awesome at the end.

Final thoughts on the series? Would you recommend this season to anyone? Why or why not?
I think people should watch other way much better sentai seasons before watching this one and if they decide to do it they must have big patience because it takes almost half of the show to become something worth watching. The finale definitelly makes you that it deserves all the patience. I can't hide that I was thinking of abandoning the show at the beginning. I am glad I didn't

Watched a few more episodes today.

In Act 13, Alata and Eri are quite annoying but their flashback scene was great. In the next act, I'm starting to get more appreciation for the Blue and Yellow characters. The acting and story starts to get better with Act 15, which is one of my favorite episodes (thus far). The zord fight was purely epic with the beautiful formation of the Hyper Gosei Giant.
