I'm simply curious, did you not like Digimon Data Squad because the dub was bad, or did you not like the plot? (I happen to like Savers, but I never watched the dub of that particular season). Personally, my favorite used to be 2, but 3 ousted it. Especially upon rewatching it.

Eh, no season is without problems. Season 2 had it's share of problems as well (BlackWarGreymon's 'destroy the destiny stones' episode arc was WAY too repetetive.) Furthermore, if the kids used the crests to place a protective wall/purge the evil from the digital world, then why do evil digimon still exist? For that matter, why did they introudce the "Darkness World" if they hardly ever used it? Why was Daemon introduced, only to be used for a few episodes and then never mentioned again? How could no one know what the Digi-World is when there was a GLOBAL AND INTERNATIONAL incident years prior? Hell, Japan was the site of Digimon attacks TWICE in the span of a decade. And nobody remembers any of this? It's inconsistent and only addressed after the fact when it's convient. And even then it's contrived. You do NOT forget these things. Oh, and Azulongmon was utterly pointless. The only thing he actively did was give the older digidestined the power to digivolve past Champion again. He literally didn't contribute to the plot at all (he would be important in Tamers/S3, just not here.) In fact, my entire problem for S2 is that there isn't a true sense of danger or awe. These kids aren't trapped in the digital world, as the first group was. They can safely return to the real world whenever they please and rest up for the next fight. That bugs me, since it literally gets repetitive until the height of certain arcs, like the Emperor's Last Stand with the Kimeramon arc, which was brilliant, and Ken's soul search for self-worth was most excellent, but then it went striaght to repetitiveness with destroying control spires AGAIN. When S2 is good, it's GOOD. But when you really think about it, epilouge aside, it has a lot of problems.

No I completely agree.... but in the end, the nit picks with season 2 just become fun... regardless of whether or not they're good or bad nit picks... they're just fun to talk about, but you can argue that with the first three seasons. Frontier and Data Squad not as much because they weren't built around the same ideals.

To answer: The Goseiger did use the Tensounders outside of ranger form. The servants in Shinkenger are called kuroko. Shinkenmaru was the original sword name from Shinkenger. And yes. Koichi is directing a few episodes of Gokaiger.
A to Z Memories of Fate occurs after Episode 45 of W. There are W references in Gokaiger episode 6.
Dynaman's suits were based on baseball uniforms. Kaoru was testing the Gokaiger's bonds, which is why she was surprised when Marvelous took the attack for Joe. Her name is Aihm, pronounced "Aimu" or "Eye-m".
