I was finally given a Sunday off after many months and got to see this episode. Bulk and Spike going into battle crying out "Teriyaki" was hilarious. Spike has a crush on the pink ranger? Typical. And they were both excited to be up close to a Samurai Ranger. The rangers then discovered that Jayden's father was the one who sealed Master Xandred but he wasn't strong enough to seal him permanently, just like the red rangers before him. The battle between the Nighlok, Jayden, and Deker was awesome. It did seemed a bit rush actually but I give this episode an 8/10.
Bad acting aside, this was the best episode imo since "there go the brides". Almost everything worked for me here. The Bulk and Spike scenes were great, especially with Spike starting to live up to his character description. I like that they didn't just jump into Bulk knowing the new rangers. They were kind of off doing their own thing, which basically mirrored what the rangers were doing, and now their paths are starting to cross. The story and fight scenes were also really good in this episode. I know Jayden is probably going to catch some flack with people saying he "gave up", but if things turn out how I think they are then he has a genuine reason.
