To make some hype in celebration of SirStack gearing up to do footage-breakdown of Zeo on Morphylogony, lets discuss the development history behind Zeo, which was once an acronym for "Zordon of Eltar's Odyssey." I'm not sure if much is known about it, I heard it was going to try to be a prequel series of sorts using Ohranger, of course. It would have involved a different cast, and the source of power would have been similar to Ohranger's in that they were ancient magical powers, but in Ohranger, they were a military force as well. Also, during the summer leading up to Power Rangers Zeo, they included sneak peek serials for the new series during summer reruns. These serials featured two new characters, a Scientist and a Woman, neither of which appeared on PRZ. At first, I thought this implied Zordon and Alpha were killed in the Command Center explosion and these would be the new mentors. Were these guys products of Zordon of Eltar's Odyssey?
Ohranger too had different plans at one point. After it debut, an act of terrorism (don't remember what it was) occurd, and Ohranger had to be significantly toned down (which I feel is what led to the Death of Bacchus Wrath). I once heard Ohranger was going to have the Machine Empire completely take over the Earth, but now wasn't the time for such grim imagery so it was reduced to a mediocre sentai.
