I've a question regarding the information Trip gives Wes and Eric in regards to the Mutorgs. (Assuming I heard right) When he states at the monsters come directly from the 3001 to 2002, does this imply that the future is somehow "a year" behind the present? That he and the others are in the year 3001 instead of 3002? Its the one thing that gave me pause, because I naturally assumed the the future and the present moved at the same pace, at least as far as progression was concerned.

Well, when the Jen and the other left the future to get Ransik, it was the 3000 so basically, it was a year after that.
^I guess that makes sense in a way, but I just assumed, given the circumstances of the timeline chosen, it wouldn't have any great affect on their "present"'s progression after they returned. I.E., after leaving 2001 and returning to 3000, time would've marched on for when that when "Wild Force" occurred, 3001 would've passed already and 3002 is the year the they would've been in.
Am I making any sense at all?

Indeed. "Year 3000" is a carryover from the Timeranger footage. Coming back to 2001 makes sense, because TF was filmed for a 2001 premiere. They couldn't go back to 2000, because they'd be stepping on the toes of the Lightspeed Rescue gang. 3001-2002, as shielded above said, maintains the "999 year" difference.

I just loved the episode. Lots of loose ends were tied up.
I really enjoyed the fact they make a connectio between Mutants and Orgs, in xpecial the fact we know the Orgs make Ransik body a weapon, because thw Orgs itself are weapons.
