What was your favourite Sponge Bob Square Pants and the Simpson’s episodes?
There are so so many! They always make me laugh, I can’t believe The Simpson’s can still be so funny after so many years! I also really like Family Guy

What was your fav TV Show to work on?
I have really enjoyed working on every TV show I have been involved with, all for different reasons. I have been lucky enough to always have fun and exciting characters to play.

What has been your most challenging role?
It was quite difficult doing a theatre adaptation of Lolita, she is quite a complex girl and at the time we were doing the play I was also involved with heavy storylines on Shortland Street and studying for a Chinese exam for uni. All the roles that I undertake challenge me in one way or another and that is one of the many things I love about acting.

What was it like to work with Brenda Song and Sally Martin on the Set of Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior?
Sally and I became very close during filming for Wendy Wu as we shared a trailer and most of our scenes were together. We still keep in contact. She is a really awesome girl. Brenda was lovely to work with, she had amazing energy.

Did you have a chance to see the Simpson’s Movie?
Yes and I really enjoyed it!

Have you ever watch any of the Power Rangers series before accepting Your role as Lily of Jungle Fury?
When I was about 9 New Zealand had Power Rangers and I watched that but I had not seen any until getting the part when I watched a few episodes of past series.

Have you ever watch any Super Sentai series?
    No.

    What is your greatest fear?
I am afraid of sting rays.

Do you have any heroes that you look up to in your life that inspire you?
My family really inspire me and are incredibly supportive of choices I make.

Do you like to travel, and if so, where have you been?
Yes I love travelling. I have been to Europe, Asia, America, Australia and I am hoping to get to the Pacific Islands sometime very soon.

If you can go to any beach in the world, which one would it be & why?
A secluded beach with white sand, cloudless skies and clear blue water. It would not matter where it was.

How much fight training did you get?
We had a two week intensive training camp with Koichi and his team where they taught us some of the basics and of course the morph!!!

What's the most difficult stunt you've had to do so far?
Koichi never makes us do anything that we don’t feel comfortable with. He takes amazing care of the actors and his team of stunties.

Which cast members do you feel you connected with the most?
I am close to all the cast. We all have a lot in common which makes filming really fun. I also like learning off the others, they all bring fun ideas to set which makes filming very fun.

What is it like on set? Does everyone get along?
It is so much fun on set! All the cast and the crew are very good friends.

Did you have any previous fight training before PRJF?
I did a martial art called Aikido when I was 10-12yrs old. Then when I was 19 I did some boxing and kick-boxing but mainly for fitness.

Can you tell us how you got the role of a Power Ranger?
My agent told me I had an audition so I just went along and acted out the audition piece.

    How's the audition in PR?
It was really fun. I love auditioning!

What kind of work and requirements were involved for the audition?
You have to know your lines and make choices on how to react and act to the dialogue given to you.

Q: What was the best thing you can remember being on PR?
A: The fun storylines. It is fun acting out a different world. And one with super powers rocks!

Q: What was it like working with Sally and Brenda in Wendy Wu?
A: I became really good friends with Sally and we are still friends today. There was also a girl called Ellen in it who I randomly ran into at an audition in LA.

Q: Do you still keep in touch with the cast members?
A: I mainly keep in touch with Sal as we are both Kiwis. Also Koichi who directed 2nd unit on Wendy Wu also worked on Power Rangers so it was awesome to work with him again. Before filming began we did 2 weeks of "Koichi Camp' which involves hard core kung-fu and fight training so that we could battle with the Dai Shi. Those 2 weeks were RAD!

Q: Who was your favorite among the PRJF cast?
A: Red Ranger. All of the cast were cool. We had such a fun time shooting.

Q: If you could return to PR, would you?
A: Absolutely! It is one of the most fun jobs in the world, without a doubt!

Q: What did you think of having the Sunglasses as the morphers?
A: I wasn't too aware of different types of morphers so I just kinda put them on without realising we could have had different ones. Although I broke way too many pairs when I did the head turn in our morph sequence.

Q: Did you get to keep any of the props?
A: I have my sunglasses. I haven't worn them at the beach yet.

Q: Have you heard of Power Morphicon?
A: Yea it's a massive convention? That would be amazing to go to!

Q: What was your experience on Underbelly like?
A: I loved filming Underbelly. It was completely different to Power Rangers, Go Girls, and Seeker. It was very challenging playing a real life character.

Q: What was your experience on Go Girls like?
A: Go Girls is filmed in the neighbourhood I grew up in and I love the Amy character. It is very fun to play out her world.

Q: Which of your acting roles was your favorite?
A: Seriously, all of them. For different reasons but with every job you get to meet such cool people!

Q: Did you enjoy playing a "bad girl" in one of the PRJF episodes?
A: Far out YEA! I got a wind machine for my hair and everything!

Q: What was your favorite episode in Jungle Fury?
A: I like the first episode. Casey, Theo and Lily are all getting to know each other and coming to grips with this new world and going on the journey together. It was very similar to Jase, Aljin and I beginning the series.

Q: If you could choose an animal spirit, what would it be?
A: Hummingbird spirit. I wouldn't be very good in a battle but I would try to avoid trouble and just fly off sweetly.

Q: What was your favorite part of the New Zealand set?
A: Maybe at Master Phant's place. It is the most incredible location.

Q: What was a typical day on the set?
A: Wake up at 430am, get my outfit on at 530, head into make up at 6am, start filming at 7am, wrap at 6pm. head home and learn lines for the next day.

Q: What do you like to do when you are off set?
A: Watch movies, tv series. I am currently half way through LOST! Argh awesome! I love finding new tv series and watching them right through with no ad breaks and no waiting for the next season. Buffy is next but I'm looking for more, so any suggestions...

Q: What projects are you currently working on?
A: I am half way through filming Wild Boys in Australia. It is about 1860's. Then I head back to NZ to film a 4th series of Go Girls.
