I'm glad to see that the song is finally released. This was supposed to be released during the Super Samurai premiere.

The volume release is lame. They should've done a single box set.

Like I figured. This is a kiddified release because it's the current product line. We're not going to get any love or care like the Shout! releases.

Those Samurai DVD's have some sweet covers. Hopefully the Shout! Boxsets will have equally sweet covers.

Agreed. With the run time of 92 minutes, think both volumes are around the first 8 episodes. I can't wait for the Shout Factory DVDs.

^That would be in the US right? Cause I've been itching to get my hands on it. It would go great with my other power ranger dvds. I wonder if they'll be volumes 3,4 and 5. Or would it be just like it was with the Jungle Fury and RPM dvds (only doing volumes 1 and 2).

I really loved the clip from 'The Bullzord.' The shogun mode would debuting, since I saw a wooden sculpture and on the scroll. I'm looking foward to seeing this.

Not sure if this should be included/discussed in the other PR DVD thread (I figured that one was mainly about the classic shows being released), but I was visiting TV Shows on DVD a few moments ago and found this little treasure: http://tvshowsondvd.com/news/Power-R...-1-and-2/16690

Looks like they'll cost about $15/ea. At 92mins per disc, that would be 8 episodes? So if you multiply that by 5 (possibly 6 b/c there are more than 40 episodes between Samurai & Super Samurai), it'll cost at least $75 to own all the Samurai volumes to get the complete season. I don't know about anyone else, but I find this kind of discouraging news when thinking about the complete season releases of the classics. Season one has 60 episodes alone :S Hopefully I'm just over-thinking it all. But hey, at least we're getting Samurai on DVD!

Just to note, it doesn't say anything about blu-ray releases.
