The largest seasons will probably be split into 4 boxsets like transformers g1, at 15-20 dollars each. Then the fallowing seasons split into two boxsets like beast wars was. Full seasons aka the split boxsets repacked into a unified box, will be sold threw their website and FYE. The more the two or 4 part boxsets sale the faster the full sets will drop in price, as such was the case for g1 and beast wars. Buying the full sets sometimes do include a bonus if bought from there site. Beast wars came with prequal comic.

As for your question, it doesn't. The shout dvds will be sold as they have always been.

Under the multi-year agreement, Lionsgate obtains all DVD and Blu-ray rights, as well as multiple digital rights for the newly revamped Power Rangers television series, Saban's Power Rangers Samurai and Saban's Power Rangers Super Samurai. Both shows currently air on Nickelodeon with Saban's Power Rangers Super Samurai premiering last month. The studio also acquired the distribution rights to two Power Rangers Christmas and Halloween specials, and a Power Rangers Movie special. The first releases in the deal, Power Rangers Samurai: The Team Unites and Power Rangers Samurai: A New Enemy, arrive on DVD and Digital Download for the first time on June 19th.

Looks like this press releases officially confirms my last week's news in regards to two Christmas and Halloween specials. Not looking forward to the "Super Samurai" clip shows.

Lionsgate? I thought it would be Paramount. Since that usually most nick shows/movies are from that. $15 is usually the price for most dvds. I'm not sure which one to get volume 1 or 2. 8 episodes on each dvd [that's 16 episodes altogether so far], the previous ones were 5 or 6 they must've raised it up.

It's interesting how we have new super samurai episodes every saturday. I'm curious as to how many more that would air before the 'hiatus'. I'm ok with the plot being changed slightly in 'He's not heavy metal, he's my brother.' I know that would be translated from the shinkenger act, wasn't that with shinkenpink using the inroumaru? I know she (Mako) used it in more than one act (episode).

Updated info for the DVD release:

Each DVD, both featuring foil O-card packaging, contains four episodes of the show and is loaded with special features including auditions, behind-the-scenes training, character and weapons galleries, bloopers and more.

Good idea giving the sets lavish extras that can build and build with each release.

Don't get too much hopes up...I'm sure we will see the return of the Power Play Extras. The bloopers will be a nice touch.

Auditions and bloopers are the two things making me want to get these now.
