^Please inform me of this "Disney takes over the fandom" prank. I don't believe I was around for that. Kind of curious how it went down and what exactly it was.

We had it staggered so four days prior to April 1st, different and seemingly unconnected sites went down. Selma's fanfic repository, the Writers Guide, etc. EVERYTHING had a stock page of "redirecting to Go Network" (itself a tip, a redirect doesn't normally load an interstitial page) before dumping you at disney.com. Ray was onboard, as were a slate of other (and also seemingly unrelated) PR sites, but it didn't last even two days before PRangerX (in his usual tendency to take everything literally at face value) began contacting Disney legal representatives and having a meltdown that they were infringing on the fandom. It was so frantic there as WE got inquiries as to why this was happening since they weren't responsible that the entire thing had to be aborted by March 31st.

And that's the story of how PRX ruined the greatest and most elaborate hoax in PR fandom history.

I think it's easily the best scam I was ever involved in. Forget Scorpion Rain, the fandom itself concocted most of that legend. It PAINS me that it was never seen through to completion.

I've never collaborated with Mesh on a hoax before. If this was mine, I'd have played it differently than this (like leaking it on Friday so it was tied up in the chaos of the KCA). I also wouldn't have just poked holes in this...

That said, getting Ginn onboard was a MASTERSTROKE.

Okay, first question. Crayfish what's up with your name? It was weird enough when you added Rev to it.

Secondly, I'm actually surprised so many people fell for this one. The name being Pirate Rangers, full character bios and plot summaries, confirmed guest stars, and a confirmed casting of Blake Foster? All of this presented to us at once when most of this wouldn't be known until right before casting starts and is usually given to us over a period of months.
