Papercutz will be promoting the Graphics Novel at SDCC:
• "Memory Short" will premiere at the show, a week ahead of Trade date
• All books (including Power Rangers) are buy-one-get-one-half-off on Sunday, which is Kids Day
• We'll have Super Samurai episodes playing on a loop in the booth

You sell yourself short Mesh. Rangercrew is probably the second biggest PR focused message board, behind Rangerboard. I don't count Henshin Justice Unlimited because that's focused more of the Japanese side of things, and PR is just lumped in with the off topic section (although said section is named after PR, as it's called the Power Chamber).

Not to open up the comics sausage factory too much, but this did start out as an Emily story (Stefan was just getting warmed up to these guys when we made him switch!). We want all our stories to develop organically from the characters and they will, but in this case we thought the original idea was so worth exploring that we should keep it and apply as much as we could to the new team. With that being said, we'll completely reverse course if the premise doesn't make sense for this particular group.

One thing to note about Power Rangers: We, the fans, like seeing new and interesting characters with distinct personalities.
From the way you responded, I take it you're involved with the graphic novels?

The cover art for the Megaforce graphic novel is pretty interesting. For instance, the girl in the front immediately grabbed my attention. The art style in which she is drawn is fantastic, and as I look at her, I wonder what role she plays in the story. I think the main reason I said I was somewhat impressed with the cover art is that I'm usually a bit biased against how the Power Rangers are drawn; they look far too muscular. XD
But don't let that stop the artist from drawing the characters his way.

Sadly, we just learned there will be no promo poster at this show, but we're really hoping to have one at the next. The idea was to do something kind of high-end that highlights the legacy of the Power Rangers and the characteristics that unite all the different teams over the years. It was just a bit too complex to rush through in time for Comic-Con. However, we WILL be graced with the presence of the Power Rangers themselves at the show! And here I thought they were made-up characters.

One thing to note about Power Rangers: We, the fans, like seeing new and interesting characters with distinct personalities.

I just finished reading your review, Fury, and here are my thoughts:

-Although I haven't read the graphic novel, your description of what's in it is well done. You get into the details between all of the characters and elements in the novel itself.
-It seems like the novel was well-written, but I think trying to get the writer of this product to come on for Power Rangers Megaforce is a little bit of a stretch. I say this because pre-production has already begun for the series. What Saban Brands and Nickelodeon can do is perhaps hire him as a consultant (or a script doctor) to oversee the scripts that have already probably been written. There's always the next season of Megaforce (Super Megaforce or Ultra Megaforce?), but even if they could get him to write, I don't know how important he is to PAPERCUTZ. He may not be able to do it if he wanted.
-Needless to say, it sounds like the comic would also make a better special episode (or an episode in the series if it were possible) than what we've gotten thus far.

I don't know when the next review for the other graphic novel will be done (of course the second being released on August 15th), but I look forward to what you have to say about that then.

Thanks for the feedback. You do know that I was joking that Saban Brands should hire Stefan. This is a mere praise for Stefan's work on the novel compared to what I've seen in Samurai/Super Samurai.

Ah, okay. Even if you weren't joking, it's possible for a writer to make the jump if the opportunity were presented; especially if the graphic novels are successful.
