Thread: Missing Team-Ups 4: RPM/Jungle Fury

  1. #1
Well guys, here's my last missing team-up thread for now. If there are any other missing team-ups that you'd like me to start a topic on, let me know in a message.

If the Ranger Operators and Jungle Fury Rangers teamed up, what do you think should happen? Even before "Clash of the Red Rangers" RPM was thought of as an alternate universe, so how do you guys think that would work?

    I would've liked to see a 2-part episode.

    Part I:
Dai Shi is somehow revived (or one or all of his generals), travel(s) to the RPM dimension and attack(s) the Corinth city. The RPM Rangers try to fight Dai Shi/his revived generals, but are unsuccessful due to Dai Shi/the Generals not being made by Venjix. After teaming up with Venjix, Dai Shi/his generals have a second face-off with the RPM Rangers and defeat them. Meanwhile, both battles are secretly monitored by a familiar figure, who is reveald to be Jarrod.

    Part II:
The RPM Rangers, Dr. K and Colonel Truman try to figure out how to defeat Dai Shi/his generals. In that moment, Jarrod reveals himself to them and reveals them the Dai Shi's backstory/the backstory of Dai Shi's generals and offers them assintance. Jarrod also reveals to everyone how and why he travelled to the RPM dimension and explains that there is a way to win the battle. Colonel Truman asks him how and Jarrod replies that he has some friends who could help out. He makes 5 phone calls, but there isn't any time left to wait as Venjix and Dai Shi/the generals begin yet another offense. The RPM Rangers leap into action, but Colonel Truman orders Jarrod to stay put. However, Jarrod doesn't listen and follows the RPM Rangers. Meanwhile, the RPM Rangers are once again defeated and knocked off their feat. They demorph and just when they are about to get blased, Jarrod interfiers and morphs into his Lion Spirit. However, he is not strong enough and is defeated as well. Then, right before all 8 Rangers are baslted by the Venjix's attack bots and Dai Shi/his generals, the Rangers and Jarrod are saved by 11 more familliar figures - the 5 JF Rangers, Spirit Rangers and the three living Masters. The masters help the RPM Rangers stand up, giving a shock to the bad guys and a nice surprise to the RPM Rangers. After a brief introduction, the two groups morph and eventually win the battle with the help of Jarrod, the Spirit Rangers and the Masters. Part II of the team-up ends with Dr. K making sure that the JF Rangers and their Masters return to their own dimension.

Some RJ-Doctor K interaction would have been enjoyable.

Carnisoar's questionable time manipulation powers send the PRJF (mid-season, pre-Dom) to what seems to be the "near future." The Series Operators have no recollection of Jungle Fury Rangers, but Scott notes their historical record is spotty and "there were a lot of you guys."

All I know is that this was the one I was most bummed to not see. It's two of my favorite teams, so regardless, it's would've been awesome.

A brief fight between Dillon and RJ (both are Wolf-based) would have been awesome. It would be great seeing the two of them fight together as well.

The problem with this idea is that the JF Rangers don't show up until the last 10 minutes by the sound of it. Also, it sounds like the RPM Rangers spend most of the 2 parter getting pummeled.
