Maybe, but the most people, they'll probably just think "It's a Power Ranger". Whenever I watch Sentai on my college campus, strangers tend to walk up to me and say/ask, "Hey, are you watching Power Rangers?" "What is this, it looks like Power Rangers" "Dude, this is totatlly Power Rangers" Plus, back in the 80s, a lot of 80s Sentai Robos were selled in America, and I'm pretty sure a lot of those who bought them had no idea where those came from.

A lot of non official sentai and rider toys are also sold around the world. For example in Tinos of Greece. Saw some megaranger and kabuto toys there the last time I visited the island. When I was a kid my father had bought me turboranger's robo which I had no idea what it was since mmpr hadn't come out yet. I just loved robos and my father bought me that. Unfortunatelly I don't have it anymore. Don't know what happened to it
