The forum is open but the official opening isn't until this coming Friday, June 1st.

You can log back in if you're an existing member of the old PRE or Superhero Board. Or you can sign up new if you like.

The forum now uses VBulletin 4.2. The latest version of VBulletin. So most of you should have a pretty easy time adjusting.

Most things are in place however some minor adjustments and work is still being done and the forum tweaked. So this next week is being used for bug testing and fixing before the official launch later this week.

I have added 4 new skins, a member album gallery that can be shared publicly or privately and made some other minor adjustments prior to official launch on Friday.

I'm also not planning on integrating Facebook or Twitter or having official Twitter and Facebook pages. In most cases they just get ignored and seem to stretch members across too many of the same platform. Thus causing confusion and lack of purpose, amongst other things.

Nothing else (other than new skins) for the time being will be added to the forum after Friday unless there is strong member feedback for a new feature or forum. Any changes or additions or modifications will be minor and likely not noticed by most people. So if you would like to see something added (forum or feature), now is the time to say so. Any new additions must be done by this Friday so I can concentrate on forum content and skins after Friday.

By the way, there will also be non-PR skins. Toku, Anime, and other comic themed skins are coming. While it may be 'Power Ranger Universe', it's all encompassing. Meaning more than just Power Rangers will be focused on.

The forum is now officially open.

Come be active, check things out, and just have fun!

A few things to get you up to speed on things:

* It has a gallery that is created as members create their own public Albums.
* It has a direct download song (mainly themes and such) area. There are NO video direct downloads. It is member contributed.
* Groups. Members can create and promote their own groups that fit to any of the forum themes on PRU. Such as Anime, PR, Toku, etc.
* Customizable Member Profiles. 2 more themes will be added this coming week.
* Mood Icons
* 190 smilies
* The Game Room. EVERY DAY a new arcade game is added automatically. The arcade will never get boring. You can also comment on and rate the games! Most of these are games NOT available on other PR forums.
* Graphic Editor. You can edit and work on graphics directly on PRU without extra software on your comp. This is great for people that have old and poor graphic editing software or none at all, or a computer that can't seem to run the one they have without problems.
* Other Enhanced and expanded features
* Uses the old PRE and SuperHero Board databases. So there is plenty of old info to dig up!
* Only has 1 common sense rule. The Golden Rule. (Porn, religious and political topics , which are hot topic, are not allowed however.)
* 150x150 avatars (including animated ones!), and banner size is 500px width and 400px height maximums. 1 sig banner per member.

I've been cleaning up and making some minor modifications to help make the forum look a bit cleaner and nicer overall.

The Media section has been improved and modified. Everyone except guests can add to it! So check it out. I'll be adding more shortly to it as well.

There are mod positions open, but you need to be an active member of the community to apply.

If you are good at making forum banners, feel free to help make some! They can be of PR, Anime, Toku, etc.. Check out this thread for more info. There are several skins available with more coming, I just need new and better banners. If no one helps, I'll do them myself. But I can't promise good results. lol

I will soon be running a contest where you can win BOTH of the newest Power Ranger Samurai DVD's and other goodies. Being an active member will pay off!

So if you haven't checked us out recently..or ever..now is a great time to swing on by, introduce yourself, and help be an active and productive member of the community.

We need more Role Players, Fan Fic writers, people selling or trading their merchandise (or even showing it off), and more people contributing to the Media and Graphics sections. Every little bit helps.
