A rap version of the original theme song? The 2K3 series did go by the original Mirage stories, let's see where this one goes.

I know the 4Kids show loosely adapted some of the stories, but it didnt really "go by them" , it became it's own thing pretty quickly.

What are your thoughts on today's episode?

VERY good! The CGI is great, and the comical scenes are done in a great matter! A bit off topic, but the way this is being promoted is so different from Samurai, I just wonder if Samurai got a sneak preview on a Friday night with Origins part 1 and then on Saturday morning aired the full hour premiere if that could have changed the future of the series's popularity?

I really liked the little preview we got. I still think of Raph when I hear Rob Paulsen's voice, but I'll get over it. Lots of good humor overall and a fair bit of action. More contact that I expected.

I am a huge TMNT fan. I have seen every movie and every episode of each series. I can't wait for the new one. I hope the backstory is similar to the one in the new comic book from last year. Its really good. If you guys haven't read it yet, you should. #14 just came out and its published by IDW Publishing.

The new show is awesome but have to get used to Rap version of the theme song. I love the voice acting for all of the characters alot icluding hearing my favorite Voice Actor Kevin Michael Richardson as one of my favorite TMNT Villian Shredder.
