Because SPD's premise isn't the sort of thing you can explain in and out within 1 year? It pretty much requires futures seasons (and approaching seasons) to be written specifically with that premise in mind, and I guarantee that no writers from the current administration will give enough of a damn to do so. Best we'll get is some sort of throwaway explanation in Megaforce.

Yeah, If I remember correctly Cruger said h earth SPD started 10 years prior, so it would be 2015.

It could work for the Go-Busters footage - they're an earlier SPD group, the first ones out of the academy. And then you get to repeat SPD too and rerelease the DVD to an audience that hasn't seen it before.

SPD was conducting research on Earth in 2001, before any of the B-Squad Rangers were even born. Sky's father was the Red Ranger when he was just a little boy. Bridge was born eight years ago in 2004, and Sky is probably around the same age. We're already at the point where SPD should be publicly active in New Tech City, if the original timeline is still valid.

I doubt anyone's going to ever care to acknowledge SPD. At most, we'll get a little something in the Gokaiger adaptation. But I don't think anyone in any regular season, or the 2025 season if the show is still going on then, will mention it. It's one season that will be increasingly obscure as the years go by. And that's without even considering that Tzachor is averse to the idea of shared continuity, or deviating from the Sentai scripts.

If we don't just accept that SPD is operating in New Tech and the current seasons just aren't mentioning it (this is a show that has had people claiming there aren't any monsters, or that the Rangers are just comic book characters), we could chalk it up to SPD's own reckless time travel. It's a season that arguably invalidates much of itself. Who knows, maybe their time travel in "Wormhole" or "Once a Ranger" already wiped away much of their history, as shown in their season.

SPD's timeline is the PR equivalent of Mondas in Doctor Who and how it'll arrive at Earth in 1986 - nobody thought the show would be around long enough for the future history to cause a problem. And nobody really mentions it, ever.

(Except in Attack Of The Cybermen in 1984 but that was rubbish, so there you go)

SPD Future is past next to Dino Thunder could means during that time others Power Rangers teams show up until SPD show up in Earth and created the Academy for Power Rangers, and well do not forger the Mecha from Gokai silver comes to the Future of Time Force.

It started with the end of the world how much darker do you want it to get? Maybe the girls of the group should have been prostitutes ? If Ziggy had his knees broken by the gangsters would that have been better? that's the kind of opinion that I don't understand people who want Power Rangers so dark that it seems like something out of Frank Miller's sin city I don't understand how it could've gotten any darker while still remaining a kid's show
