What did you think of Gai/Gokai Silver, Goujyu Drill, Goujyu Rex, and Goujyujin?
I like Gai. He is funny but good fighter too and his knowledge of Super Sentai was usefull. I didn't expect to see him combine 2 keys. His mecha is ok. I don't really like the design but i like how each form is a power of a super sentai team.
I disliked Gai at first finding him annoying, but then I realised he was a huge sentai fanboy and laughed a lot with his behaviour. I would prefer it if instead of him there was a badass 6th to be honest. As for his mecha I liked that he took Goujyu Drill from Timeranger and Goujyu Rex which was like a blue version of Dragon Ceasar. Goujyujin also looked very similar with the Zyuranger's robo. But why all those blue? This made no sense. They should be silver. I found the drill finisher too boring also. I would prefer it if he had a sword or something.
Gai was pretty cool and also a great fighter. His mecha was awesome!
Not the first time a sixth ranger has had a wrong coloured robo. The Green Dragonranger's Dragon Caesar is black, and the red TimeFire's V-Rex is silver.
Goujyu Rex was more Tyrannosaurus inspired.
What did you think of Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle?
Mediocre; it wasn't great. I see people loving it, and I don't get it. It was Gokaiger vs. Goseiger, and pretty much nothing more. With a name like that, it inspires more; it should have had more of the past focus. Gokaiger, Goseiger (I'm in the camp that assumes this was pre-emptive to get Eri's actress before she disappeared), and a Geki-Shinkenger member, for the Vs. Super Sentai setup. The name aspires to so much; that's my main problem. If it was just Gokaiger vs. Goseiger, I could forgive it, but no; not with this title.

I despise Gai, like I despise Don. I don't like comedic characters, and Gai is the worst offender I've ever seen, I feel. I know people like him because he was a fanboy, but I hated that. Sure, he's living his dream, but he's also joining a fight against an empire that forced the other hundred-some Senshi to sacrifice their powers. That's something you should take seriously.
As for his mecha, I liked it. I wish it had gotten more use in its other modes, though. I also wish that he wouldn't have gotten all three Great Powers at once; make him work for the alternate modes by getting the powers as they go, and unlocking Goujyjin's other forms.
