Yep, just proves even further Nicktoons is becoming a 24/7 Toonzai/Vortexx :P
Especially when they start airing TMNT 2003 this fall!

That seems odd, considering TMNT 2012 also starts then, on the main Nick channel.

Yea how long til Saban runs nicktoons?
I originally got the channel for the original nicktoons but now it's strayed so far away..I expect it to be rebranded in the next few years.

It's still a channel for toons owned by Nick. NickToons. Why would it be rebranded? Repurposed, perhaps, but not rebranded.
Lots of cable networks go through repurposing phases in their lives. Bravo was once an arts/high-culture network. A&E was the Arts & Entertainment Network. TBS wasn't always all-comedy. TNT wasn't always all-drama. MTV used to play music videos non-stop. VH1 was the older generation's answer to MTV. Nick At Nite used to show CLASSICS. Siffy was once the Sci-Fi Channel. G4 used to be about video games. TNN was originally a country music station, which evolved into "it can't be called SpikeTV because Spike Lee doesn't want his name associated with it" The New TNN. TV Guide Network used to be nothing but program listings with previews on the top half.

Why would it be rebranded? Because live action shows aren't toons, that's why. Same reason why MTV no longer stands for Music Television (it's just meaningless initials now) and Sci-Fi changed to Syfy.

I love how soon as Saban gets his own block again and It's 1 week from premiering, Tribune and Cablevision decide to have a dispute taking WPIX CW off the air.

That sucks. That means no Vortexx there. And I thought the era of PR on broadcast being only in certain markets was over.

Only now do I see that the big CGI design on the corners is to disguise the 4:3 shows.
