When did the Previous Samurai Team go to battle?

I've been thinking... can we make the numbers work so that the previous team of Samurai lead by Jayden's father went to war against Xandred during the gap between Countdown to Destruction and the founding of Lightspeed Rescue?

Anyone see a problem with this?

I remember Rovang saying something on Twitter that according to the numbers, the last time the Samurai Rangers had been active would have been during Lost Galaxy (and may explain what the Space Rangers' mission was that they had to dart off to).

Oh sorry, I should have been more clear. You explained why the 1999 Earth Power Ranger team was not remembered or commented on. I was asking why hasn't any mention been made of a 2005 Power Ranger team.

Maybe there wasn't a 2005 team? Or, heck, I've heard rumors that Mystic Force technically took place in 05. No evidence for that last one, though.

Rovang's timeline (http://timeline.rovang.org/) used to list Operation Overdrive in 2006 (based on tickets seen in one episode) and thus put Mystic Force taking place in 2005 (a year before Overdrive).
