The Changed of suits during the Power Transfer could really worked fine and well have for Three Seasons the same suits is really to much.

MMPR was a hit series back in the day and the Zyuranger suits were one of the important elements of the show that made it unique and recogizable. When Zyuranger aired in Japan, Super Sentai was an already well-established show and the viewers there were used to the suit change already. Now that's something America and the rest of the World weren't used to and Saban needed to wait the perfect moment and opportunity to apply the yearly costume changes for the show. MMPR S3 provided all of that - first with the Ninja Ranger suits and than with the 10-episode Kakuranger suits test. The Alien Ranger thing worked, the viewers accepted it and Saban was able to start doing a proper yearly costume change, starting with Zeo.
Otherwise, PR would have ended sooner in my oponion.

They make the changed suits with Alien Rangers arc and that results pretty good but we can really see a Real Test with they changed to MMPR to PRZ suits even the Theme changed.

^ That's basically what mnikolic just said
I know people love those suits, but the only reason to buy the ranger action figure again was if you wanted some glittered up versions >_>
that was not a great business plan especially when you know all the kids are buying the new white ranger action figure faster than you can keep it on shelves.
^At last someone understands what I was talking about. It wasn't just the suits. Fans would buy whatever had the name mmpr on it back then. Ninjetti suits was a good idea on season 3 but on season 2 everyone already had the mmpr action figures from season 1 bought
The thing is in my opinion, dairanger costumes wouldn't have worked as well because the Yellow ranger was kind of drunkenfist and it completely contradicts Trini and aisha. The Kirinranger was also way bigger in size than boi in zyu so it makes sense. Another thing, I am not sure if mainstream American children in 1994 could've really gotten into specific asian themes that Dairanger possessed specifically Chinese mythology. The plot could've easily went over their heads. it was also so drastically different from Zyuranger dino theme that there would have been to many loose ends. And just getting the series off the ground changing an entire cast would've been too risky. Ultimately i think Saban made the right decision. And I dont think Zack could've pulled off being the white ranger.
I loved the ninjetti suits lol I was the white ranger for halloween that year. My brothers were red and black. and my cousins were pink yellow and blue. we were the most awesome 5-8 year olds ever!
but if they shot the footage of the foot soldiers over here then you wouldn't have had to worry bout the yellow ranger being larger in most of the fight scenes and there was never a need to incorporate anything else about dairanger other than the suits. The plot of season 2 would remain the same basically just swap in the new suits for fight scenes and make more money selling toys
