Too compare those is stupidity of the highest level on your part. Nobody is looking to take your head off in those jobs [atleast not that I know of] MMA [and any combat sports] your head needs to be in it 100% otherwise he'll be picking his teeth off the floor. When a guy is looking to take your head off or wants to bend your arm or leg in every whcih way but the right way is not the time to be fantasising about impressing movie producers.

For the time being he needs to put the movie aspirations aside and focus 100% on MMA get a solid record and see how far he goes then see if the movie roles come in. To talk about wanting to use MMA to attract producers without even stepping in the ring yet is showing a huge disrespect to the sport and its fans [or just pure unbridaled arrogance or stupidity on his part]

1) You can stop with the insults, because it's unnecessary. Ironic, actually.
2) To have respect for the game is to do nothing else in life? Then that's sad. You can train well and be good at a sport without it being the only focus in life. You're going on as if he doesn't take martial arts in general seriously, and that's where you need to check yourself. You speak as if you're talking facts, and you're not. You listen to one interview and you think you know it all. You need to be careful of that.

All the guy's been doing for the past year to 18 months is train for MMA. All he's been doing. So really, before making any more assumptions, just do your homework. And not one interview.

The armbar turned into a shoulder lock.

And I take it back. He didn't really get "rocked" that bad. The first time he went down was a slip. And the only other time he went down was a takedown. So he can probably stay at that weight for a while.
