Anyone here read comics? Just thought I'd like to start a bit of a discussion regarding the gerne or if anyone has personal favorites.
Against my better judgement, yes.
-Invincible Iron Man
-International Iron Man
-Amazing Spider-Man (newspaper strip)
Yeah jumped back into collecting back in 2011
All New All different Avengers
IDW TMNT Line
I used to collect Scarlet Spider before Marvel Cancelled it
I'm currently getting back into the swing of DC given the whole Rebirth thing, mostly titles that are apart of the Rebirth line. In terms of Marvel I'm kinda stirring away until the whole Civil War II thing is done but I have dug into a rather obscure & underrated series title ROM Spaceknight. Valiant is a current line people should be reading given that 90% of there titles are A+ material.
Speaking of Valiant they just announced their next year's worth of titles

Godzilla get's to go Time traveling in a new comic series titled Godzilla: Rage Across Time
That time 50 logos for DC were pitched by the same designer in 2002
I've also been reading some of the early Amazing Spider-Man newspaper comics from the 70s because, as DJ can probably attest from his RB days, I've become such a big supporter of that strip and greatly prefer it even today to the mainstream stuff. It's fascinating. MJ at one point was Kraven's assistant and wanted to tempt Peter into helping them catch Spidey, and there was one story pitting Spidey and a love interest called Carol against a mentally unhinged cult leader who's followers drive Carol out of town just as she and Peter were getting serious.
So anyone checked out the first issue to Future Quest? I thought it was pretty awesome. It's probably the most appealing series to feature Hanna-Barbera characters (though that's honestly not hard given the other series look ridiculous.)
Creative upheaval on the movie is to blame for Marvel cancelling the Rogue One comics
Invincible was pretty good this week, with a nice insight into Allan the Alien's mucked up life. Mark's trying to get used to the idea Eve had another relationship but it starts to gnaw at him slightly. I love that they're handling everything like adults though, and seem determined to make everything work again for the sake of keeping the family together. This is how you cuck someone without damaging the relationship or characters.

DC Rebirth is more "Back to Basic" or "Almost Reboot" according to Dan Didio.
